Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Anyone else seen it? I went and saw it yesterday and thought it was great, granted not as good as the first one but awesome none the less... some extremely halarious scenes and a killer twist ending

i gave it 8.5/10

(Ps also saw superman returns, thats pretty good aswell)

i really loved it, as much as i loved POTC one... they are different type of movies and im predicting POTC 3 to be a 10/10

Not as good as the first but still good, I was a little dissapointed, it should have been better, I think the ending was really good, that should set up
a really good 3rd movie.

as for Superman, I thought it was poor, just my opinion though.

Bought the first movie for $15.98 at JB Hi Fi yesterday. BARGAIN !!!!!!

Didn't like the second as much as the first. I felt like it was a necessary evil. You need something to get you from movie 1 to movie 3 in the story but this one just didn't have enough plot.

Jack was great. If it wasn't for him, the movie would have really sucked.

Thought it was ordinary and nowhere near as good as the first. Seemed to be filmed for the purpose of pumping out a sequel. Good special effects, but as a whole, I was disappointed.

Yeah maybe instead of making two they should have put all the good ideas
from 2 and 3 to make one movie.
Aperently theres a extra scene at the end of the credits, didnt see it
myself but its meant to be good.

It is good. I sat through the credits (all 5-7mins of them!). I had a feeling their might have been an extra bit, because there is one at the end of the first movie. If you DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CREDITS OF #2, DON'T READ ON ..........




It goes back to the tribal dancing (BOOMboomboomboomBOOMboomboomboom, ect!) on the island where Jack was their king / god near the beginning of the movie. You see the natives dancing away as the camera pans up to the throne where you then see ... the dog with a huge bone in it's mouth. The dog is their new king / god! Then that's the very end of the movie.

For what it's worth, I really enjoyed Pirates2 ... just not as much as Pirates1. Pirates2 took a little while to get going. It seemed to me to have a slow start. It didn't seem to get going properly until they were on a ship on the water. That's my opinion anyway. I'll still be buying it when it comes out on dvd (probably just before Christmas).

Hated Dead Mans Chest. It simply cashed in on the first. Sub-standard script, rehashed acting but in fairness the effects were a lot better. I'm with Eskimo Sharkie, made for the sake of a sequel.

Superman sucked as well but I was never going to like that so thats probably a biased thought. Just seemed to drag on with no real reason.
