Player Awards

Does anyone follow the Rugby League Players Association Players Player award. The points are published in the Herald the week after each round.

There is also a website for the awards Sports Oxy Shot Player's Player

It's a bit behind in it's updates (being only up to Round 12) but the Sharks points, awarded by the players were given to

3. Luke Covell
2. Greg Bird
1. Danny Nutley

Interesting as one would think points awarded by peers mean a little more than points awarded by nuffy journos.

HE was also a very popular and highly though of bloke when at the tiges only last year mate..... I think that played a part in their voting to be honest.

I added the points for Sharks players (excluding rds 13 and 14 as they're not listed) and it reads like this:-

I threw last weeks Sun Herald away so can't get the Round 13 ones till the website puts them up

They have done a sh*thouse job with www.myfooty.com the designers should be fired and they should get somebody to design a site that looks and functions better. As the players association website they could have some very interesting and engaging content if they put some effort into it.

Do you think the Tigers are having a go? Danny & Greg are good choices for that game but Covell errors played a hand in 4 of the Tigers 6 tries. (Although McGoldrick must share the blame too)

I reckon the TIgers are just trying to thank him for handing them the victory
