Recently started playing the game again, and i was re-finding all the patches and stuff. Does anyone know where i can find a player editor, if someone made one?

Yeah Does anyone have a copy of Inertia666 player editor they can link us to? I need one to, but all of Inertia's old links that I checked in past threads are DEAD

OK those should all be good now fellas, on my site, enjoy! Remember though, I don't have any support for them, so if you have any issues, search these forums for previous posts about them, or try contact inertia, but I'm not sure that he still supports them.

nice on gol, if you can host Internation Edition you are more than welcome, space and bandwidth providing of course.

since the sequel might not be out for a while I might get time to release what I had finished with the latest version of the team editor (faster saving). it's already working but i haven't tested it thoroughly and there's some other improvements to be made. im not aiming to touch anything until september/october though, but depending on my contract at work i might have time and the energy to do something again. the fixture editor could also do with some extra functions.

im looking at an XBOX version of IE but i don't think it will please SIDHE because you will need a modified XBOX and although i wouldnt be removing any protections it might not go down to well so it might just have to stay on my xbox at home (providing i can get a copy cheap on ebay or something as i don't fancy spending another £27.99 on the game.

the main reason IE 2.0 hasn't continued is that i rely on the stats part to be done by Jiffy and he's way too busy at the moment. The jerseys, comps and teams are all done I just need the stats finalised. If Timmo decided to do any high res international jerseys that would be awesome.

No worries Inertia I was looking for IE on my hard drive but could only find a test version of it, if somebody could throw me the original archive of IE that'd be great, with all the patches for it, send it through email, I've finally got ADSL now so I can handle the bigger file sizes, and am now on a decent host that allows more than strictly minimal downloading, thank god.

this is a problem with the standard/custom player database stuff.

the custom player database has a voice ID associated to it, so when you make a new custom player (which you can do in the editor as well) any voice ID can be assigned to the player (including the wrong one).

the standard player voice ID is hard coded into the program and there is no voice ID bit (hence the voice ID box is blanked out when creating a new standard player).

its the same for teams as well. if you create a new team in the custom menu with the word "australia" in it the game will figure that out and assign the relevant voice ID.

I did manage to assign the FIJI player voice ID to my FIJI team and it worked but when i added new teams in the commentary file it crashed, i could only change existing ones.

anyway, your solution is to create surnames that are the same as existing surnames in the custom player instead. of course, if the player name isnt in the game it wont work wherever you put it.

Yeah that's what I did when I replaced Ben Walker, with Andrew Walker who is now retired.

I just wanted to complement you on your work with the player editor inertia666, it's absolutely fantastic and I couldn't have made the latest patch I just did without it. 10/10 mate.

if you update Andrew Walker with Ben Walker in the standard player.db then the voice ID should still work and you don't have to create him as a custom player.

Yep, it was all sweet. I wish there was still a way that you could manually change the voice ID, but meh, ya can't have everything.

The problem i have actually having was, for example, i wanted to give brett hodgson some more agility and correct his hight using the player editor. i do that, but then when i use him in the game, his stats and everything are fine, but vossy calls him 'the fullback' and never by his surname. Am i using the editor right? :?
