Agree FCD bad blow but someone’s else’s opportunity. They may shine and the lay off forces Zac to review and reflect on his own game a bit. Not convinced that he would have made Origin this year despite the Media’s narrative. May come back as a Fullback.. that would be interesting...

I wouldn’t have picked him for origin but there are bits of his game that have improved this year namely a bit more venom in defence and his kick returns have been better. He’s barely had any opportunities in attack and they don’t seem to be kicking for him as much so it’s hard to be too critical in attack but there are several in front of him. Next year was always going to be more realistic anyway.

This might sound strange given the suspensions we have received but I reckon the NRL in their sick minds feel sorry for us and did not charge Poasa. The player was tackled and he had a second go at him by dropping his weight so very lucky to not be facing the judiciary and missing a week or two.

8 weeks if your name is Vaughan and 1 week for everyone else. Not sure if you have to sign a stat dec that no one else was involved in the tackle.
