Mann always deserved a run in front of Field.
Full stop.
Cannot believe Mary went that way, however guess I should have hey.
CC

McGregor went that way because of pressure and hype. Not saying Jai isn't the real deal here, but he needs development time and as Millward said he wants him to transition from fullback not straight into 5/8.
I think McGregor just wanted to "silence" some critics about NOT selecting players like last year. Unfortunately, I think he has created a more difficult one with Mann.

Ok l'd like to report that coach McGregor is suffering from a number of health issues.

Medical staff are at a loss as to where his balls may have gone. Inside word from an unnamed nurse has confirmed there was very little there in the first place but Doust has instigated a search party to appease board members and mask McIdiots lack of ability.

Doctors report a complete lack of backbone in his decision making is of the greatest concern whilst an overload of verbal diarrhoea is creating a stench around the club.

Doust has offered to clean up the mess but with nobody talking more crap them himself, his offer has fallen on deaf ears.

Stay tuned .....

Knights prop Jacob Saifiti and Warriors forward Bunty Afoa are facing two-week bans for shoulder charges following a brutal Easter Sunday of NRL.

Saifiti was hit with a grade one charge following a 56th-minute tackle on Dragons winger Mikaele Ravalawa that sparked an all-in melee after Kurt Mann was inadvertently knocked out.

Saifiti’s suspension couldn't have come at a worse time given David Klemmer’s knee injury.

Meanwhile, Afoa is facing the same grading over a tackle on Roosters rookie Sam Walker in the Warriors 32-12 loss.

Both players can choose to enter early guilty pleas which would reduce their suspensions to one match allowing them to return in Round 6.

In other judiciary news, Dragons hooker Andrew McCullough was hit with a contrary conduct charge for a tackle on Knights hooker Jayden Brailey while Roosters lock Victor Radley is facing a dangerous contact charge.

McCullough and Radley have until 12pm Tuesday to enter pleas and are facing fines from the NRL.

Titans bench forward Sam Lisone was handed a grade-one dangerous contact charge after the Titans’ 20-4 loss to the Raiders, but will escape suspension.

Lisone is looking at a fine of $1700-$2250 for making dangerous contact to the head and neck of Raiders fullback Charnze Nicholl-Klokstad.

Souths playmaker Cody Walker will have one week on the sidelines after being charged with striking Bulldogs fullback Nick Meaney on Easter Friday.

Walker was charged after appearing to make contact with the back of Meaney’s head with his elbow and would miss one match if he entered an early guilty plea or two if he chose to fight the charge at the judiciary and lost.

Walker was also facing a potential $1500 fine for a separate contrary conduct charge after stepping on the ankle of Bulldogs forward Corey Waddell.

Walker will serve a one-match suspension for the early guilty plea, missing the Round 5 clash against the Broncos and has also been fined $1,150.

Meanwhile, Souths forward Keaon Koloamatangi will miss two weeks after being charged with a grade two crusher tackle on Bulldogs centre Will Hopoate.

Koloamatangi will spend two weeks on the sidelines after taking the early guilty plea and will be eligible to play in the Round 7 match against the Titans.

Broncos forward Patrick Carrigan has accepted a one week suspension for his grade-one crusher tackle on Storm prop Christian Welch.

Sea Eagles forward Morgan Boyle was hit with a grade-one crusher tackle offence on Panthers winger Brian To’o.

Boyle is looking at a two-match ban which can be halved with an early guilty plea, although, a suspension won’t matter due to the fact he picked up a shoulder injury on Thursday.

Roosters forward Victor Radley will head to the judiciary on Tuesday night to contest the dangerous contact charge he received in his comeback game from knee surgery.

Radley was handed a grade-one offence for a 20th-minute incident involving Warriors lock Jazz Tevaga during the Roosters' win at the SCG on Sunday night.

He will be fined $1800 if he cannot prove his innocence but will not be banned irrespective of the verdict.

Knights prop Jacob Saifiti has accepted a grade-one offence following a 56th-minute shoulder charge on Dragons winger Mikaele Ravalawa, meaning he will miss Saturday's stoush with the Titans.

Warriors forward Bunty Afoa is facing a two-week ban for a shoulder charge over a tackle on Roosters rookie Sam Walker.

Dragons hooker Andrew McCullough was handed a contrary conduct charge following a tackle on Knights No.9 Jayden Brailey and has been fined $1150.

Sea Eagles forward Morgan Boyle has been banned for two weeks over a crusher tackle, adding to the pain of his dislocated shoulder in the 40-point loss to Penrith.

Boyle was handed a grade-one offence and pleaded no contest so he accrues no carry-over points for a tackle in the 16th minute on Panthers speedster Brian To'o.

Rabbitohs forward Keaon Koloamatangi has also copped a two-game ban - he was being charged with a grade-two crusher tackle on Bulldogs centre Will Hopoate.

Rabbitohs five-eighth Cody Walker will spend this weekend on the sidelines after being charged with striking Bulldogs fullback Nick Meaney in Friday night's win over Canterbury.

Walker, who was charged after appearing to make contact with the back of Meaney's head with his elbow, will miss one match after he entered an early guilty plea. He would have been out for two if he fought the charge at the judiciary and lost.

He also accepted a $1150 fine for a separate contrary conduct charge after stepping on the ankle of Bulldogs forward Corey Waddell in the eighth minute of the match.

Brisbane forward Pat Carrigan has accepted a suspension of one week for his grade-one crusher tackle on Storm prop Christian Welch.

Titans interchange forward Sam Lisone was hit with a grade-one dangerous contact charge following the Gold Coast's 20-4 loss to Canberra in Saturday but will escape suspension.

Lisone has been fined $1700 for making dangerous contact to the head and neck of Raiders fullback Charnze Nicholl-Klokstad in the 33rd minute.

That’s very bad news but the silver lining is this stint with him out will give some young guys an extended run which will only cause good headaches later, plus Zac can still run and practice his goal kicking.
Agree FCD bad blow but someone’s else’s opportunity. They may shine and the lay off forces Zac to review and reflect on his own game a bit. Not convinced that he would have made Origin this year despite the Media’s narrative. May come back as a Fullback.. that would be interesting...

And Norman won’t get dropped because he’s the goal kicker. Great

There’s always a dark lining to every silver cloud hewi ! Damn shame that one of the young guns cannot kick goals , as I would take a chance on him , rather then continue with the uninspiring Norman .

The bloke is like a blood-clot , blocking the Dragons attack .

I swear the Dragons media team have a mole on our forum (and JA also). Here we are complaining theres no injury updates this year, then out if the clear blue sky we get one......btw i'm not complaining that we did.

Lomax 6 weeks return so about rd15
Ramsey being monitored over the next 2 training sessions.....my guess he wont play this weekend
Williame a re-occuring calf injury no timeframe to return
Sullivan doing well in recovery says rd 10 (next week) or the week after
Brittain has had hia protocols and seems ok to play this weekend, we'll see.

I must say that I do not know C.C. perhaps one or more maybe ? But what I do know is that our current five-eighth has has had his time and unless our attack begins to function then there is not much hope of keeping our spot in the eight .

Yeh.... origin..ha. On form there are few centres that should be looked at before him if they are fed dinkum, he should of never been a hot chance
Crichton, Wighton, Burton (yes he is playing better at centre), Campbll Graham (he is also injured now), Bradman Best.
I'd have any of Melbournes centres but likely not elligible. Even Josh Morris but he had retired I think.
After all those then Zac..just my opinion on form this year and try scoring achievements.
