I would have expected it to go to a Queenslander given they won the series but a good choice none the less.

It would be very hard to give player of the series to a guy from the losing team. Just because he was the best NSWshman doesnt mean he outshone some of the QLDers.

Definately NSW player of the series though.

yeah fair enough. in saying that though if hayne doesnt play the first two games i have no doubt nsw lose both of them 40-0

Hayne was easily the best player from either side over the 3 games. He was absolutely awesome.

Not that you'd expect the award to go to a player on the losing team, though.

But still, in terms of performances over the three games no-one else came close.

haha see you say that, but I am 99% sure that the last game loss is gonna piss the qld team off. especially since they don't get a tropical celebration holiday now.
