Player swap Norman for Widdop

It’s only Mary denying the rumours & I believe very little coming from his BS mouth.
Gaz Widdop denied all those early rumours that he wanted out to go to England & then slam bang.....I’m going!
They always do deny it no doubt, but the Warrington boss has also come out saying he isn’t interested in Norman and tbh unless he was an idiot why would he be. I don’t reckon Norman would go too well over in England. Usually the halves that go well over there are ones with good running games like Blake Austin. All Norman has is a good passing game. He seldom runs, his kicking game is predictable and his effort areas are about as low as low can be.

We have some really good talent coming through in the halves and also still have Hunt who can play either 6 or 7. I really don't want Widdop back. I'd rather a Dufty clune halves combination and Hunt at 9 with McInnes at 13. If he is available I believe De Belin would be a good fit at prop; as Vaughan's run-on partner.

Widdop has a busted shoulder. He’ll be lucky to play 10 games in a year.
Compared to what Norman is offering, it’s still an upgrade on the status quo.

Another option is Blake Green on a 1 year deal, 2 years max . He would to fill the gap in 2021 & if a second year is needed/wanted by Green he can work with young 1/2’s as a mentor. Would be cheaper than Widdop, we bite the bullet & move Norman on a year early. If we need to cover 300-400k of his salary for his final year to offload him, coupled with the savings on Green compared to Widdop. It may be $ we’ll spent, short term pain.

Let's go back 6 years and forward , have any of the rumors in here or from the media ever eventuated ? We are a club with do direction going around in circles ..... The rumors are just decoys to take our minds off the disastrous years that the club has put us through .... No one is coming here , even Noone changed his mind ....

Look at Mary supporting Norman saying it is unfair to the poor bloke. Is it unfair to you Mary that Norman is playing like a passenger and screwing you around?

Sorry to be on the negative again but we have some tough years ahead of us. A total clean sweep of everything needs to be done in the next year or so. Start again crisis. This should have been done aeons ago.

Not being negative at all, just honest and calling it as you see it

Just watching Penrith vs Raiders and the Penrith halves putting on an absolute display.
And here we are contemplating Widdop back.
Nathan Cleary has done more in this game than Widdop has done in his whole career.
Deadset we are a joke.

Aitken should be the first moved on, has no idea how or when to pass, pity any winger playing outside him. The late great center Reg Gasnier must be turning over in his grave at what's taking place now.

Fox League has him linked to the Warriors and Meninga suggested that it would be a good signing ....... as for Norman ..... NRL website

The developments sparked suggestions of a trade with Norman being swapped for Warrington playmaker Widdop. That, however, won’t happen. Norman has no intention of leaving, knowing he won’t be able to command anywhere near the money he is on at the Red V. Further, Wolves chief executive Karl Fitzpatrick told SEN’s Breakfast with Joel and Jimmy program that the club has no interest in the former Eel.

Nathan Cleary is 22.
He is already 4th highest point scorer in Panthers history.
He has played for his state and country.
He has another decade of football ahead of him.
Meanwhile at the Dragons, Clune, Norman, Sailor, Hunt, Widdop......
