Morrison has a sore neck. So does PJ. I'll take PJ Marsh before him any day. We have enough backrowers assuming we have secured Pritchard.

PJ's injury and Morrison's are very different. Morrison's injury does not require surgery and will not affect his career.

I would want the following (in order of preference)

PROPS
Jason Ryles - one of the better ball runners in the comp, but error prone!
Danny Nutley - always over the ad-line and gets quick play-the-balls
John Skandalis - huge workrate and great meterage!
Steve Price - tireless worker and class player (doubt he'll leave dogs)
Peter Cusack - no-frills, good ground gainer and high work rate

If we're going to add more props, then they must be quality runners of the football (something our current props aren't great at). We should be looking to add someone up front because that's where we currently lack a lot of momentum - and then our halves have less room to operate etc etc

CENETER
Paul Whatuira - great talent, great experience on young shoulders and has good pace and evasive skills! Probably the first player I'd target overall! Lock him up for a long time
Brent Tate - no need to explain (can't see him escaping the Broncs)
Joel Monaghan - speed, speed, speed! And a real knack for finding the tryline. Currently playing in the centers, certainly has the size for the position, and I'd like to see him get the number 3 jersey for us!
George Carmont - he's been playing the left side for Newcastle and we need a right sider, but he's just got great skills and speed - worth a shot!

For mine, center is the big weakness in our backline at the moment. We lack someone who can 'make a break' and hit the gaps with consistency!

OTHER
Obviously there are a few other players we should make a run at - Lockyer and Orford the notable ones - but I don't see them leaving their clubs... If we haven't already got Pritchard, then he's a must! A big strong backrower who can dominate in tackles, run with authority and make something happen. He'll give us some 'umph' in the forwards!

Franze isn't off contract guys. He has another two years left after he signed up again. Sullivan is happy to stay aswell. Riddell or not. Nutley might be a chance for you blokes though

I heard Riddell is a done deal for you guys!. BTW can you reveal more regarding Nutley or are you just assuming he may come here.

Riddell is pretty much a done deal yes sadly. Nutley I have no idea... I just get the feeling he will test the market. Cowboys are pretty keen for him I think.

Another player off contract who is not on that list is Ryan Cross from the Roosters. Would be a very good alternative to Tahu who appears to be a certainty for Manly.

If Riddell is a done deal at Cronulla he's doing particuly well to hide it, this morning when interviewed!

It's still between Parra, Cronulla and St George and he will make a desicion by the end of next week.

Riddell was NEVER and still IS NOT a done deal at Cronulla. Still alot of water to pass under the bridge at the Dragons which has just started with the news of Firmans release. I'm still confident we'll have a pig in blue and gold next year.

Wouldn't it be funny if we gained a pig after losing a pig chaser...
