I was just wondering if anyone knows which players will be going down to melbourne as 18th or even 19th man.
I know Premier league is also playing on sunday. SO do you gamble and not take any extra or not worry about prem league and take players just in case

Screw the Premier League team, we've won plenty of Prem/Reserve grade comps.

I'd be taking a back and a forward at least.

I would take Blake Green, Weller Harakwi and Todd Lowrie.
Just to make sure, could even send 2 back sunday morning if everybody is fit and have one incase of a warm up mishap.

Have we ever won 3 straight and will we ever get the chance to again?

With there being no PL next year, i would say that this premiership would be pretty important to them

I think we need 3 to travel with the team on Saturday and sunday morning 1st thing send 2 back if they aren't needed. Costly but.

they won't play if they only travel back on the Sunday morning. It's just not good preperation.

And i think there'll only be one travel with the team

Seriously, if we only take... say a forward for Wags... and something happens to one of our backs in warm-up, can you imagine the uproar that the club would have to deal with?

"You didn't prepare properly" etc etc etc

I can't believe that people seriously think that Prems is that important. The very nature of Prems team is to give the NRL team whatever they need.

I personally would like to see Prems win, but the order of things must go like this:

Priority #1: NRL team
Priority #2: NRL team contingency plan
Priority #3: Prems

End of!

LOL - Prems win the comp but FG lose to Melbourne by 2 points because Jarryd pulls a hammy in warm-up and the only replacement is a forward. Mmm, doesnt seem right.

I think Premies should go back to their original name, "reserve grade". That's a far better description of their overall importance when compared with winning a first grade premiership.
