I heard Michael Crocker is still without a club since his visa was refused stopping him from going to England.

Please sign him Anderson! We should have a bit of cash in this years cap with Finch leaving and really need a player like him. Plenty of fire and passion he is just what we need.

Finch was payed out his entire contract for the season. No spare money this year, well not for a Mick Crocker anyway. From what's been reported he really wants to go to the UK and is waiting for the results of the appeal to decide anything, and training with Melbourne just to keep his fitness up.

It's not just the coaches decision as the financial side of things also has to be taken in to account, in order to prevent breaching the cap etc

You are 100% correct. But the coach must have the first say as to who we retain, release, or recruit. It's not simply a matter of the leagues club board deciding 'we'll sign mick crocker' which is what I would object to.
