The plod has interesting origins,i believe the first plod sighting was in the year 2000 when the Wests Tigers came on the scene,ever since then they are consistently mentioned in plod culture references and they are largely credited with inspiring all the plodders we see today.

ithink it was gus that brought this up some time ago and I actually think its right. After a great rookie year he was put in the gym and over several seasons built his body up to the role but has kept the same size shorts. They just do look like they are a comfortable fit on him and hindure his mobility and is why the majority of the forward pack would beat him in both 40m and 100m sprints
