Just finished watching a series on ABC I View called "Plum" about a fictitious rugby league player (a Shark, unfortunately). There are some cameos of famous players throughout the story. It's about his development of CTE from his playing days.
It is very well acted and certainly gives you food for thought.
Can highly recommend it.

Loved this show. It deals with madness and family, father son stuff really well. If you are a league tragic, most here I imagine, this is a little shattering, further erosion of some comforting normals, like tribal footie team following. The
whole concept of immortals put to bed.

No Jak it's not a comedy.
It made me wonder whether this diagnosis prompted Paul Green to take his own life.
Head knocks weren't taken seriously in the past.
It’s a great show & really gets you thinking.

We really seem to only be scratching the surface of the long term impact of what repeated knocks the brain can actually do.

For far too long we celebrated people being brave for retuning to the field after being “in Disneyland” after a concussion.

the sharks bit is superfluous really, its just cos he is a fan. would have worked with any sydney club

spoiler - i feel as though punching a bloke that calls you a "beret P*0f" on video would be pretty much play on
