Seriously need an annual Kokoda Cup test match (Kumuls V Kangaroos) to be played annually at Lloyd Robson oval once completed. Preferably in addition to the PMXIII game which could travel annually around PNG.

Change of topic slightly but how has Kopoko been for crowds? And is there any plans to take some Hunters games there every year once Lloyd Robson is complete?

i support a good multinpurpose athletic facility for png, but i think theyr going overboard with the lloyd robson reno as well. money doesnt grow on trees and it would be better spent on helping png keep its head above water in terms of the state of health, roads and education.

The Loyd Robson Ovals redevelopment is being paid for by Oil Search Limited under a Tax Credit Scheme.

The main grandstand tickets sold out in 2 hours yesterday morning.

And as of midday today, all other tickets have been sold out.

So that will be 15,000 + at the game tomorrow night. That would probably be a record attendance for an Intrust Super Cup Match.
