PNG are kicking the everloving shit out of HK, some seriously good swing and spin bowling.

I have read some articles in the last 18 months about PNG cricket and how they have an overabundance of natural talent, but lack funding for elite pathways. Seems the ICC are actually starting to sort this out.

The ICC are doing it all wrong with the associates. The explicitly target expats in places like Hong Kong and Canada.

The sides coming through that will succeed are sides like Ireland and PNG, whose players are coming through organically.

It's technically a PNG home match, and there is no fully approved international ground in PNG.

PNG wins the series, geez there's some natural talent there. I know it was only Hong Kong but if they could actually get some targetted funding they'd go alright I reckon.
