I saw him play a few times this season.

A real no-nonsense big body with a bright future.

Very happy with this signing.

Welcome to the Mighty Red V Big Faama!
In your opinion how would Faamausili rank in our current prop rotation?

Chrighton,
Tupouniua or Liu would do very nicely...
So far they have officially let go Faamausili and Flanagan. I'm not up on things Rorters but would think that the Morris boys might also be on the chopping block. Surely with these players gone, the Rorters will have enough cap to sign Suaali.

I'm expecting a big year form Kerr, and the emergence of Blacker to a regular bench player. With Vaughen and now big Po, we are really only short 1 good prop, and maybe a 13. I am hoping that Sims, Ford and Fui can manage the edges? ( butmaybe we need another edge too)

Not at all confident with Kerr and Blacker, need more tough frontrowers!

Yes as basically Vaughan will be the ‘ leader of the pack ‘ . No doubting his big heart however as you have said Como , another tough prop who will truly give the Dragons forwards some respect .

St George Illawarra have confirmed the signing of Sydney Roosters forward Poasa Faamausili for the next two seasons, following the completion of all necessary documentation.

Faamausili will remain at the Dragons until at least the end of the 2022 NRL Telstra Premiership season.

The Auckland native Faamausili debuted in 2018 at the Roosters and has since played 28 NRL games to date, including a four-game loan stint at the New Zealand Warriors earlier in 2020.

The former Junior Kiwis front-rower will report for pre-season training in mid-November. The Dragons now have four spots remaining on their 2021 roster.

"Poasa is a highly talented, emerging front-rower that we are excited to secure for the next two seasons," NRL recruitment manager Ian Millward said.

"Incoming head coach Anthony Griffin was keen to get Poasa on board and saw him as a point of difference to our forward pack, with his genuine leg speed and physicality.

"Given his experiences in the Sydney Roosters' system, we are confident there is plenty of improvement in Poasa. We must also thank the Roosters for their cooperation with Poasa's signing."

Faamausili's arrival follows the retention of Mat and Max Feagai, Josh Kerr, Jackson Ford, Mikaele Ravalawa and Adam Clune as well as the promotion and re-signings of Junior Amone, Tyrell Sloan, Josh Coric and Jackson Shereb-Schmidt.

The youth movement at the St George Illawarra Dragons is set to continue, with the club signing emerging forward Poasa Faamausili for the next two seasons.

The Junior Kiwis representative joins the side from the Roosters, where he made his debut in 2018. He has played 28 NRL games, including a four-match loan to the Warriors in 2020.

Faamausili marks Anthony Griffin's first new signing since taking over as head coach, with St George Illawarra still to fill four roster spots for the upcoming season.

The 24-year-old was released by Sydney, the club in the process of adjusting their roster to ensure they fit under the salary cap in 2021.

The Roosters also released Kyle Flanagan on Monday, with more changes expected in the coming weeks. The Bulldogs confirmed on Tuesday morning they have signed the young halfback.

Dragons recruitment manager Ian Millward said Faamausili will add depth to the St George Illawarra forward pack.

"Poasa is a highly talented, emerging front-rower that we are excited to secure for the next two seasons," Millward said.

If Crichton is available, I would say he is a good substitute for Frizell and would be a better option than Joe O.

Yep Tupouniua would be my Target along with Lindsay Collins. Both young, run hard and have great lateral movement.
Not a fan of Liu, only plays small minutes.
Tupouniua would be a great Frizz replacement.
Isaac Liu....are you sure
Do he not play most of the year except when injured a victor Radley 80 minute type role

If the Rorters don't want Creighton, than we should sign him without hesitation. He is a true 'like for like' for Frizell and younger. We really do not need any others from the Rorters and I doubt they want to offload any others.

May not need much more if Hook can get both Simms boys firing & Debellin comes back. Mind you that is the whole puzzle, how much improvement & desire the coaching team can get out of last years squad.

Sorry, I don't agree. K Sims and Merrin will play reserve grade and be blockers for our up and coming juniors in 2021. They are just like the centres Aitken and Lafai, who were signed for far too long.

We are stuck with a whole heap of dead wood only because recruitment got it wrong again, they signed up fringe players for far too longer term.

Not if Suaali wants $2m a year! Only joking because this is a joke. Fancy going after this kid who has not proven a thing and not played any first grade. He might be big and strong against the lower grade players, but against the men, he will cry to mummy when he gets hurt. In my opinion, kids that go to the Kings School are up themselves.
