I thought Horo's take was mud, to be honest. I like the guy, he's really well spoken, does his research, is a good yin to Willie's hyper yang, but I thought that was a poor rant.

I don't see their comments but Warriors fans are absolutely not what he portrayed us to be.

These guys forget about the fact that we had a side that didn't play at home for two and a half seasons. That we haven't won a premiership ever, but are the only side in history to have sold a full season out at home. That we have to cop players every year opting out of contracts for 'personal reasons'. Yet we soldier on with more resilience than I reckon any club in the comp has to deal with. We think every year is our year.

There's always the odd fwit, every club has them. I doubt we have more than others to deserve a personalised rant, and for Horo to disable the comments because of it. I thought that was piss weak.

Also, I thought Gus' take on how Reed Mahoney is unfairly targeted was way off the mark too...but you expect that from Gus, who will say whatever suits him and the club he's currently at. Mahoney is the biggest grub in the NRL by the length of goalline to goalline.

Yeah I don’t read the comments either. Am guessing if it’s anything like you see on a FB post all the time it could piss them off having to read through it, couldn’t read any post on Rugby League for a while without a “SJ waz robbed” comment for about a year haha, most sides have those fans though

Yeah those are the vocal minority, the F wits who have no qualms putting their names to poor takes. I have poor takes, but I would never put my name to them on social media/youtube/FB

Yeah, I use the time stamps now and zero in on the match previews or any particular issue I want to listen to. I don't have 3 hrs to give twice a week when I also want to take in Six Tackles with Gus, I like the Warriorholic's stuff, plus any non-league stuff I listen to

Also feel like Willie is getting too carried away on shit, he sounds like my father in law - ARGGHH THAT'S SHIT THAT'S THE WORST OF ALL TIME or THEY'LL WIN BY 50 THEY'LL ABSOLUTELY PUT THEM IN THE GROUND then that side ends up losing 13+

Six Tackles with Gus - last week's story about young Tawera Nikau was one of the best i've heard. Gus's ability to tell a story is unmatched.

100% agree. Say what you want, but he is an epic story teller. I heard that too, it was awesome - the story about Tawera bringing his fry pan in his luggage !

Not a podcast but was listening to big mal on SEN last night on the way home from work. He mentioned this obscure game in 1984 they played. Oceania v Europe. Aussies and kiwis played England and France to celebrates French 50 years. Was bloody hard work finding anything about it.

It sounds like an excuse for a trip to France and a piss-up. It would've been in one of the NZRL annuals we had at home, but I reckon mum's chucked it out.

I have a vague recall of the game.

Was listening to Matty and Cooper Johns pod with Horo a couple of weeks back, and he said at times this year he has had to edit some of Willie’s content out because he has gone too far with it lol. Listening to the latest one and you could hear Horo start to arc up when Willie was getting stuck into Gamble again

Haha I'm going to listen to that.

I don't listen to Levels anymore because of big Viliame/Wiremu. He's too bonkers. He compared Burton/Galvin to Moses/Cleary. Everything is the shithouse or the penthouse.

He can’t hide his Bulldogs bias lol. His laugh and some of the stories he comes out with still crack me up. Horo was giving Gamble some credit for last weeks game and Willie was like “let’s see him do it against NRL players not reserve graders” and Horo had to pull him up
