If you want to keep deluding yourself into thinking that it was a great idea to sign an inexperienced coach to a six year deal with by far the most inexperienced roster in the NRL, be my guest.

We signed Orford to a three year deal without him undergoing a fitness test for f**k's sake. And because of that stupidity there's now a large chunk of our salary cap missing for the next two seasons because the piece of shit is unfit to play but won't retire. AWESOME! I would have been happy to see Todd Carney return to the club under current circumstances, but oops! No money in the salary cap on the back of eight or so players leaving the club with no recruitment whatsoever!

We weren't missing "half our team" when we went on an eight game losing streak. We were missing Campese, and Dugan for a handful of games. The number of players we fielded during the year was on par with most other teams.

Funny how the recommendations from the so called "High Performance Review" were leaked merely days before membership renewals went out. FUNNY THAT!

Bileduct I really feel that pain too mate, and I agree with pretty much everything you said. But don't give up on the club. We'll come good soon.

Campo has an extra 9 months to let his knee recover. A lot of times guys come back too early from an ACL tear and they take a while to find their feet (Lockyer 08), or just snap it again (Zillman 08). So in the long run it may turn out to be a plus that he ended up not playing at all this year. He'll be back firing next season IMHO. We have a good pack when they're all fit, and with a bit of luck Dugan has an injury free run and we get back to our best.

Yes Furner needs to go, but we can't give up in the off season.
