Folkes and Anderson are yesterday coaches. The game has moved on and it is about time you did as well.

You are calling for change but your suggested changes aren't up to it.

If you want to pursue this agenda, come up with decent names.

What NRL teams have you coached? Fair weather supporter indeed.

And sheens is a modern era coach?
We still playing the same game plan as 05.

Tim is a last decade coach.

Please explain to me how and why Daniel Anderson is a "yesterday coach" when he took Parramatta to a grand final only three years ago?

Either of them would have more to offer the side in 2013 then stale, tired Sheens...

And, sign them to a 1 year deal and give them the flick if they dont make the 8...

Simple...

McGuire didn't have an NRL job either
Neither did Flanagan
There are no guarantees with any appointment, but a new appointment must be made and change must be initiated.
The roster is easily top 4, to miss the 8 is criminal levels of ineptitude

Exactly and I think that's the mistake we made.
Coaches shouldn't be signed up on long term deals like players but Tigers bought into 05 glory and locked him in. 7 years later and here we are having to give him a million to piss off.

Board needs some blame here.

Tigers 05 - is this change for change sake? What does Taylor bring to the table except his history of behaviour at the cricket and altercation with players at Souths? Folkes is a yesterday man, the same with Anderson.
now i definitely know you are a troll!

you defend Sheens, but come up with this!

hahahahahhhahahahahaahahahahahahahahaaha

Constructive discussion about sacking Sheens.

Why haven't all these threads been amalgamated into one?
Because I decided that they don't need to be.

The more you try and tell me how to moderate the forum, the more you can go and get f**ked.

Pretty simple.

I like to allow everyone to talk about whatever they want and voice whatever opinion they have, whether I like it or not.

You don't like it, you know the rest.

It might be change for change sake however maybe that is required.

We have had a very poor season and in my opinion Sheens hasn't gotten the best out of the players at his disposal. We were tipped to win the premiership and we haven't made the final eight. To add to that we capitulated in the last 2 games when our season was on the line.

The coach has to be accountable for this season. I think he has to go at the end of his contract and the board would be mad to keep him on. I also think that in reality the best option is to get rid of him now.

Who knows who could do the job. One of the main things would be to make players wake up and bring in new ideas i.e shake the complacency out.

Brian Smith has a well know rep for being able to do it and rebuild a place but then has to be moved on as his record once established in a place aint good. I'm not in favour of Smith as he is of same generation as Sheens so we dont gain much.

I'd be in favour of approaching either Folkes who is younger than Smith or Sheens or one of the younger set such as Daniel Anderson / Matt Parish / Nathan Brown.

It's a pity Todd Payten is only one season out of the game. He would be to close to the current players. He would be ideal candidate in a few more seasons.

And how does collapsing all the Sheens' threads into one prevent users from posting?:sarcasm:

When you can come up with a logical and valid reason for not doing so you may earn some respect.

Until then, I'll treat you with the lack of respect you deserve.
