What a terrible idea. Hope this fella is not serious. Origin ruins this, the fact clubs don't play each other twice in a season ruins this. What happens if a club only wins a few games a year and technically finish wooden spooners, but has decent enough for and against to make the top 4? Fair dinkum, clubs won't play for wins they'll play attack and that's all.

Night football games would be hampered as it's harder to score points - therefore clubs playing at night would be robbed of points.

All games should be of equal value to the competition - 2 points. The comp should have 16 points up for grabs each round - one for each team. 416 per year.

If competition points were awarded for big wins, imagine how angry Justin Hodges would be then! Broncos would give away 6 competition points each game.

Madunit's right on this one. Supporters of this idea need to enrol in a special ed unit.
