a chance addin fanua blake will play next year i have been told .

Ah good. Club will be seen to have made a stance. Hopefully he has gone through some sort of anger management program or whatnot. A young gun prop we'll hopefully have on board for a long while. Great news if true.

Well even if he does he may end up like Garvey kept at the club but may never see first grade for sometime.

Or he may become one of the best props in the game. One more good, big prop and one good, big and fast outside back and I think this team may be extremely hard to beat for a few years.

Like Garvey and Runciman, Addin Fanua Blake will be added to the NRL Squad and be given the opportunity to contest a spot for inclusion in the top 17 through his performances for the Cutters. If he steps up and shows good form, I'm sure he will win a spot on the bench through injury or rep selection of one of the regular 17.

I think the next move is to try Justin Hunt on the left wing and move Nightingale back to the right. Justin Hunt is going well in the Cutters and has good NRL experience. I'm not sure why he hasn't been considered for NRL selection as yet; maybe he lacks in something that Mary is looking for. However, I'm sure his inclusion would be give the NRL 17 better balance and improve the attack on the left side.

Our boys have stepped up this year and to their credit and that of the coaching staff, we are sitting in the top 4 and are likely to stay in that position come finals time. However, it has to be a strain on the individual players as they are surely batting above their weight and so there is a possibility of things going south if injuries become more prevalent.

In my opinion we still need the addition of two good props to our forward squad. Packer is making good progress in the Cutters and his inclusion - this year or next - will make a significant difference in ability to match it with the top sides. And one more seasoned NRL prop like would balance our pack nicely.

So there as it stands we do not now need to make big changes to our 17. Just a couple of NRL seasoned props and one very fast specialist left winger, would do the trick. In re-signing Mata Utia and Marketo, I don't really see the prupose of signng Mann unless it is for depth purposes. I think we have plenty of options within the Club for the Dragons left wing position.

Wholeheartedly disagree with your last sentence. I think we are very short of options for the left wing, unless we look at bringing Isaac Thompson through early. Nabuli lacks speed and football instinct (and yes, I know hes still learning the game but we cant afford to be sentimental if we want to challenge for the title). Runciman is not a long term winger, I dont think Hunt is either, who else is there?

Left wing should be a priority along with prop.
