Oh how great it is to see NFL back. Once pre-season starts you know its only a matter of a few weeks till the real thing is underway!

Looks like the Eagles are going to draw first blood against the Raiders, Brian Westbrook looking quite good.

Meh, looking good for now. Something will ruin my season like a blown knee, broken arm etc... ](*,)

I wonder how long until Buckhalter declares his season over before it even starts again?

I really dont understand NFL coaches sometimes. They have a great oportunity to have a good run against genuine opposition and instead of using it as a chance to try trick plays/risky plays which they would be too scared to try in a real game - they kick field goals! :|

Makes no sense to me, seems like a great chance to try things wasted.

I agree, but trick/risky plays that dont work wont sell merchandise on the way out like a boring win will.

All hail the mighty dollar!

Cheers.

I know its preseason and all, but i like to get in the mood, and see whos where and whos gone etc... Have totally not thought one second about the NFL this off season.. usually im always looking at how the Broncos are going who they've drafted etc, but this year it seems theres been to much on. Im excited as now though.

Eelementary: i think you'll find this year will be the same as last years, but next season i dont know what will be happening.

On foxsports we get Sunday games... and on Espn we get Sunday night and Monday night games. Sometimes we get double headers on foxsports and the occasional Saturday game (Sunday for us)

Correct me anyone if im wrong.

Damn it...I don't have ESPN...

i don't know what plan you're on or if you have digital but the new digital packages have espn in the "my sport" package.

the basic package is just the normal channels - tv1, fox8, etc - and costs $37 per month. if you want to watch sport you add the "my sport" package which includes all the sports channels for $15 per month. that means you need to spend a minimum of $52 per month to get the sports channels.

basically, what it is now but espn is thrown in.

call foxtel and see if you can switch to that deal.

I most definitely will!

I got Foxtel about 4 years ago and got just the very basic package - ie" no Comedy Channel, no movie channels, etc.

But with the switch to Digital, I'll hopefully get the upgraded package. Just so I can watch my beloved Oakland Raiders.

I have the foxtel with IQ and all the channels. It's great, I can save all the early morning games and watch them later.

Can't wait to watch NFL primetime again. That show is great.
