Dogs - I think that they'll beat the Knights, who again played the NRL's other bi polar club (Penrith).
Storm - They're going under the radar and appear to me the most grounded team going into finals time.
I think they have a bit more aggression in them rather than a traditional favourite like the Dragons.
Dragons - They'll probably do it, just think that they have a few more vulnerabilities.
Parramatta - Why? I don't know.I guess because of the winning streak I think that they're capable of pretty much anything and they've got the stock to do it.

That's pretty much the pickings.

I think that the Titans will fire up against Brisbane and eliminate them but they're pretty much not going to do much against the other sides.
Broncos see above.
The Knights do have a possibility of upsetting the Bulldogs but like the Titans wouldn't do much after that.
Manly I just don't rate, meh.

I think the Knights can very much beat the Bulldogs without Kimmorley. Remember this is the team that has beaten every other team (except for Parramatta) in the Top 8 this year. Write them off at your peril.

In saying that it deserves to be a Dogs v Dragons Grand Final - best two teams in the comp all year.

Lockyer, Wallace, Hodges, Folau, Thaiday, Hunt .. is that not enough fire power?
No. Most teams have 13 players on the field for a reason. Any side with a decent pack that fires up against them has to be favorites.

Is there a finals calculator somewhere ? for who meets who in 2nd and 3rd weeks etc

Also, whats the rule again "if" for example, Broncos win as Team 6, and Dogs lose as Team 2, and meet in Week 2 ... who gets home ground ? ... I can't remember from previous years

Oink !

I have tried every possible combination and I am certain that my two teams (Knights and Dragons) cannot play each other in the Grand Final.

Thats right

Impossible for Team 1 and Team 7 to meet in the GF

So no Dragons/Knights GF, they will always meet before then

you sir, have no clue ... fantastic draw for us Broncs ... walk us to week 3 now :)

we can go all the way

as per my post a few above ... here is the finals calculator i was looking for http://www.footy.com.au/fts/finals_nrl.htm ... but it doesn't answer my question regarding where a week 2 meeting between a losing Dogs (2) vs a winning Broncos (6) would be held ... anybody ?

Oink !

I'm predicting a replay of the '99 GF - Dragons vs Storm. I can't see the dogs beating Newcastle or the Broncos without Kimmorley.
