Predicted Kiwi Side

Guys who should NOT be getting near a black jersey but will quite likely end up getting a run:

Clinton Toopi
Nathan Cayless
Lance Hohaia

I rate Pritchard right up there with Sonny Bill. Frank has got freakish talents and should be in that Kiwi side. Sure the Kiwi's have plenty of giant forwards but most of them are ill disciplined with no real line breaking capability's. Frank has busted every teams defense and im sure bennett would rather not have to face him.

Are you for real?
Our forwards aren't the undisciplined ones, look at the outside backs for that one.
As for no real line-breaking ability, have you never watched Palaeasina, or Wiki, or Rauhihi, or the Hair Bears, or the Cayless brothers? some of the best in our great comp.

Cayless brothers line breakers...absolute rubbish. How many times has Nathan broken his arm belting a guy high?

Palaeasina is explosive but Webcke's work is 4 times as good.

Wiki.......what more need's to be said.

Rauhihi is in great form but is still very ill disciplined.

Hair Bears are down on form.

The fact remains that the Kiwi side will be an ill disciplined side. I'd have Pritchard in my side before any of the blokes you mentioned.

are the UK based players eligable for selection???

Not sure, if they are I would be looking at Robbie Paul to play halfback, not sure how he is playing right now but I know at his best he is a good halfback (right now the Kiwi's need ANY halfback). Anyone know how Paul is going over in England right now?

Agree on Pritchard's talent but you underestimate a few other guys who're in contention. For mine he'd have to get past the following, none of whom you could really apply the above criticisms of ill discipline and poor line breaking capability to:

Rauhihi (arguably the world's best prop right now)
Asotasi & Paleaesina (probably the two best young front rowers, huge impact)
Williams (absolute freak)
Wiki (one of the best all round forwards in the game)
Tony Puletua (very hard to stop wide of the ruck, great offload)

Webcke... 29 tackles, 1 offload, 0 line break, 16 hit ups, 116 metres
Feka... 20 tackles, 0 offloads, 1 line break, 15 hit-ups, 173 metres... and a try

Fair enough about Nathan Cayless, but Jason has his days.
Rauhihi and Wiki are legends and will dominate the aussie forwards.
The Hair Bears, if selected, will perform as they always do for international duty.
Pritchard is deserving of a spot - yes, but I disagree with the rest :)

yeah and you know it :D
As I said, our dodgy outside backs and weak halves combination have been the major shortcomings....

It is not a guarantee that if you wear the same number you'll have to mark each other all night. Besides i'm sure Bennett will have Carroll protecting Lockyer.

I sure hope carroll isnt in the team... there are plenty more deserving backrowers out there: fitzgibbon, hindmarsh, kennedy, waterhouse, ryan, simpson, harrison, thorn, morrison, civoneceva/kite/webb (if you consider them backrowers)

I posted a team earlier which i thought was damn solid but i forgot about frank pritchard...

1. Webb
2. Meli
3. Vagana
4. Lolesi (I would say Iosia Soliola but i'd rather he be available for the roosters!)
5. Utai (Soliola would push Lolesi onto the wing instead of Utai)
6. Marshall
7. Jones/Hohaia (depending on availability)
8. Rauhihi
9. Betham (to tighten up the ruck until 20th min then let a more creative type on)
10. J. Cayless
11. Wiki
12. N. Cayless
13. Williams

Bench: (alot of impact players to compliment the workhorses in the starting pack)

14. Hohaia/Ropati (depending on availability of Jones) (can both jump in at dummy half)
15. Puletua (more impact than if he started)
16. Asotasi (impact)
17. Pritchard (and more impact)

The hard done by:
18. Kidwell
19. Palea'asena
20. Whatuira
21. Maiava
22. Soliola
23. Chan
24. Bronson Harrison

Take your blinkers off Mate. Quite a few Warriors are looking in pretty good form right now, Wiki, Paleaesina, Jones, Latu and Ropati have all looked like candidates in the last few weeks. They've shown at least as much as Benji Marshall has this season.

Is Thorn available for NZ?

i don't know?
but assuming he was an ex all black player, just maybe.

He played for QLD origin before.

Yeah but dont forget about Carrol playing for NZ a few years ago and Aus last year.

So anythings possible.

Thorn will play for Aus and not NZ otherwise Bennett will be filthy at him.

Its a disgrace that Karmichael hunt doesnt play for them but once again Bennett.

Thats 3 quality players, Hunt, Thorn and Carrol that the kiwi's dont get.

If they made it where your born is where you play regarldess of citizenship status it would save so many arguments!
