I think Peter Lewis is a pretty good Premier League player. I'd take him.

I wish Norths would take him.

Considering the standard of the much younger props we've already got coming through the system I've got no bloody idea why we signed him.

The Newtown one is nowhere near full strength. The players missing from FG & PL are Flannery, Harrison, Roberts, John Williams, Nuuausala, Schubert, Sa, L'Estrange & Shillington. When they are all there, the Jets team looks twice as strong, as does the FG team!

Shaun Foley
John Williams
Setaimata Sa
Sam Perrett
Vince Mellars
Jamie Soward
Mitchell Pearce
Charlie Tonga
Heath L'Estrange
Shane Shackleton
Mickey Paea
Lopini Paea
Ashley Harrison/Chris Flannery (shows our depth, one of them will be in PL while the other will be on the FG bench)

George Ndaira
Adam Schubert
Steve Meredith
Frank-Paul Nuuausala

Reserves: Willie Brown, Aaron Lai, Troy Savage, James Shillington, Rory Kostjaysn, Grant Millington, Dale Newton, Stanley Waqa, David Pangai.

All of the top PL 17 bar Pearce & Nuuausala (two future stars) have had FG experience with moderate success, each having at least one highly impressive performance in FG. Plenty of depth for the top team, along with showcasing some amazing young talent.

Parramatta losing to the Auckland Lions. Are the lions any good, or did parra just play bad. Parra starting the season with a loss like that is not normal. sh*t !!!

Jets are travelling over there to play the LIONs this weekend as well.

Yeah i wasn't expecting that result because the Lions had a late start getting their team together compared to everyone else.

However they have a lot of talented players over there and it looks like they will be a big threat in this competition and particularly at home.

The Raiders scheduling makes no sense. First grade have a home game but the PL team is away.

Once the Jets actually gel as a team they will be unstoppable. Coming back against a Premier league finalist side like saints was just a warm up. GO THE JETS !!!!!

Would have been good to see Amos in a Jets jersey. Shame the game is in New Zealand. good to see th return of SA to a Bluebags jersey as well. TOP side that one, if it actually takes the field as currently listed. Will take some beating !!!!
