NSWRL have indicated they'll stage all four NSWRL finals at the same venue - 10:30am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm, 3:30pm I think.

Campbelltown & Kogarah are the venues being considered according to 2GB.

Match Report

The North Sydney Bears have defeated the Penrith Panthers 24 points to 20 in the Premier League semi finals at Leichhardt Oval today (Saturday).

Tries to Ben Lowe, Joe Williams, Troy Boston and Jardine Bobongie plus four goals to Williams set up the win, with fullback David Peachey having a fantastic game, the forward pack excelling and Williams' kicking game giving the Bears good field position.

The Bears' rock-solid defence remained true through the first half, holding their opposition to nil for 120 minutes of football after leading 18-nil at half time of this game and defeating the Newcastle Knights 26-nil in last weekend's qualifying final on the Knights' home turf at EnergyAustralia Stadium.

The Bears go on to play the Balmain Ryde-Eastwood Tigers in the preliminary final next weekend for a place in the Premier League grand final.

The other Premier League semi final on tonight is between the Parramatta Eels and the Newcastle Knights, the winner playing the Bulldogs in the other preliminary final next weekend for a spot in the Premier League grand final.

Very courageous effort by Penrith finishing with only 14 players. Williams and Peachey were just way to classy for us, both those players were just a cut above everyone else.

Blair and Moors were Penrith's best.Blair was pretty much on one leg, still suffering from the injury which took him off after 10 mins in the Round 25 match against the Warriors. He had to play as Penrith had only 16 players to pick from, and had to call up Flegg guys.

It was a very tough battle in the second half. I thought it was a very high quality match.

Norths also finished with 14 fit players.
