TIME TO START THE TRASH TALK

Norths will meet Newtown with a bit of form. They'll need all hands on deck to stop the Jets at Rabbitoh Park this Friday night. We will outnumber you guys in the stands and on the scoreboard. Bring it on Bears, we're ready for ya!!!!!!
Do you think that the Jets fans will come in numbers? If you bring 500 Jets fans you still won't outnumber us.

I think the Bears will win by 8. Newtown will be overconfidant and that always brings teams undone.

By the way Bears fans outnumbered Magpies fans at Campbelltown Stadium on the weekend.

Thanks for coming to the party girvie. 500 fans? That must be Norths cumulaative attendance this year.

Always a good night out at Norths. I look forward to it.

GO THE MIGHTY JETS, even with injuries ETC we can get a win. NO team in the entire Premier League comp has ONLY lost 4 games all season. Thats the BEST results in the comp thus far......

Bring on the semi's, It's the year of the Jet !!!!!

Canberra 78 Defeated Sharks 6

Ouch....
Seems all of the Shire teams are in a form slump at the moment... Still it at least now keeps it open for the Knights to still slip in.

VB Premier League - Sunday Scores
Sunday, 6th August 2006

The Cougars and Raiders have both taken home the available VB Premier League premiership points from Sunday’s Round Twenty-Two action.

The Raiders, who hosted the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, continued to send out warning signs to the rest of the competition, as the home team recorded a massive 78 – 6 victory.

Meanwhile at Telstra Stadium, the Rabbitohs have squandered a 12 – 0 lead over the St Mary’s-Penrith Cougars, to lose 54 – 28.

The result means the Rabbitohs now sit five points out of the top eight and would need to win their remaining matches, and hope a few other results go their way in order to have any chance of making it.

An updated ladder, and full wrap of the weekend results will be posted later today.

The Raiders have been awesome the last few weeks. In our last two matches, the combined scoreline is 122-12. Bring on the Magpies!

Defence will be the biggest worry come the finals for us. Too often we've put 40-50 on a team but conceded 30 odd as well (with the opposition squandering further opportunities). Those sort of defensive performances won't be so easily forgiven in the finals.
