Very inexperienced forward pack, but the kids have some mongrel in them - Timmy, Larry, Ling and Edwards are not going to take a back step.

I will be interesting to see how Edwards measures up. He is a monster in Flegg.

It amazes me at the number of people who can't spell his name...IT'S 4 LETTERS, FFS!

If I see someone call him Cooper Vanu one more time I swear I'm going to lose it :|

CHRIST It was a typo....RELAX
i'm more worried about Gorgon at fullback - do we want a female with snakes for hair at the back? (the turning people to stone thing could come in handy for our defence though).

I'll try give a rundown of each player

1. Gordon - IMO useless. Doesnt put his body on the line in defence, probably worth offloading tbh
15. Uate - Got 2 tries, played ok. Few tries down his side though
3. Hession - One of the best on ground, made many metres and terrorised the rabbitohs left side defence
4. Franze - Ok, didnt notice him too much
5. Pole’o - Him and Hession were on the same side, was really strong and had a nice combo going with Hession
6. Steele - Didnt notice really
7. Dureau - Was good, nice kicking and passing game, and good goal kicking
8. Natusch - Was strong, ran hard and got the first try
9. Thurston - Didnt think too much of his play from dummy half, took some poor options imo
10. Laban - I thought this guy was Snowden at first, he went really solid
11. Hartman - Didnt notice
12. Ling - Didnt notice too much
13. Brown © - Dont think he done much

14. Sorensen - Didnt notice
16. Tafua - Didnt notice
17. Edwards - He went alright
18. Seage - Didnt notice
21. Dobbins - Didnt play much, basically made 10 tackles and that was it

The ones where I said didnt notice, because I didnt really know them and didnt watch the closely.

Joe Williams and the #13 were good for the Bears, Williams kicked well and got a 40/20, the 13 played hooker for most of the match and was just a workhorse.

Jono - imo, you seemed to not notice much at all. If you consider the quality of the Norths side (considerable amount of 1st grade experience) the win by the Newcastle Premier League team was outstanding, especially their defensive effort.

I rarely see them play, so I don't know how they usually play (like what their standards are), but I just commented on what I seen for anyone that was interested in hearing about how I thought they went.

Thanks.

Number 13 is Jardine Bobongie.
