Knights V Bears will be an interesting game. The Knights have dropped out of the 8 and have had dreadful form, while the Bears have found great form in recent weeks and could make a late charge for the finals.
The loser of this game will probably miss the 8, while the winner has a chance still.

I hope to come up to see this match. It will be a tough match and both teams really need the win. I think the Bears still can still make the finals despite last rounds loss to the Roosters.

The Dragons/Roosters match will be a cracker. The Dragons have been in good form, recording four wins in a row.

Knights side for this round;

Nathan Hinton
James McManus
Michael Young
Nathan McLoughlin
Blake Tremain-Cannon
Riley Brown
Dane Campbell
Matthew White
Luke Quigley
Jesse Royal
Kurt Hancock ©
Blake Mueller
Todd Maddison
INTERCHANGE

Matthew Bartlett
Daniel Vaughan
Luke Grant
Daniel Spiteri

Quigley and Brown play their first games of PL this season.
Quigley has been doing a great job in firstgrade all season - some games he has done over 40 tackles and his running from dummy half has been outstanding as well. He is a guy who works just as hard in Pl as he does in firstgrade, and the Knights will probably build most of their game around him.
Brown is better known as a centre or a lock, but he is just the guy we have needed for a while to fill our troublesome 5/8 position.
He was the Knight's boom youngster in firstgrade last season, but this is only his second game of the year after hyper extending his elbow in a pre season game.

Worth is missing, and Vaughan may be suspended yet, so the forwards and especially the front row could be a bit of a worry, but apart from those positions this could be the best side the Knights have fielded this season.

Newtown 34 (D Nielsen, R Aitken, K Kingston, J Selms, C Manua, C Ciraldo tries L Covell 5 goals) defeated Balmain Ryde 26 (M Rieck 2, R Prince, D Marando, L Branighan tries J Nowland 3 goals)

Manly 40 (J Mullane 2, S Donald, D Heckenberg, M Lennon, J Robson, T Burns tries M Witt 6 goals) defeated St Marys Penrith 34 (L Dyer 2, D Blanch 2, P Wallace, B Howland tries M Gordon 5 goals)

Newcastle 28 (M White, R Brown, B Tremain-Cannon, N Hinton, M Bartlett tries D Campbell 4 goals) drew with North Sydney 28 (A Moodie 3, N Davui 3 tries R Retimana 2 goals)

Canberra 42 (M Robertson 3, W Sillman 2, M Chalk, R Hinchcliffe, B Mundine tries M Herbert 5 goals) defeated Western Suburbs 12 (R Miles, B Yelavich tries N Kouparitsas 2 goals)

Bulldogs 42 (N Barry 4, A Saleh, L Young, D Irvine, A Brideson tries L Young 5 goals) defeated Souths Juniors 30 (N Ford 2, J Williams, J Clarke, B Kearney tries J Williams 5 goals)

There were a few comebacks this weekend. The Bears came back from 24-4 to draw 28-all, while i believe both Newtown and Canterbury were well behind before coming back to win.
