I’m not usually a betting guy but when I opened the NRL app today to see the ladder I noticed it.

Here is how sports bet have it:

Now call me biased but that is a great price for us. Get on as it will halve if we win on the weekend. Gamble responsibly.

Sharks $21 to win the Premiership?

Last time I looked we were 5th in the line of betting for the Premiership at around $13.

I got some of Sharks to finish top 4.

Like you say if we beat the Panthers our odds will be slashed in all the markets.

If we lose there will be great value for the true believers.

I love your bias - that market is completely screwed. I don't believe we can win the comp, I just hold a view that Penrith and Melbourne are better than us particularly in the forwards.

With that said, I think we will be Minor Premiers.

A couple stats for the Dreamers

The last time Cronulla won a Round 1 match by 40 points was in 1999 against the Tigers - that year we were Minor Premiers.

10 Year anniversary for our last Premiership - the tag back then was "Why not us?"

There would be no greater joy in my life than to travel up to Brisbane, walk into the Broncos Leagues Club and bring the trophy back to Cronulla.
