Price To be sacked Brown in

I know we have a light pack, but they are also a mobile pack and its not like were incapable of working to our strengths.

Its as if Price has had 1 gameplan for 3 years and seemingly he doesnt have the cattle to execute it, or he cant adapt it to suit todays game.

Having said that, the quality of our forwards are far removed from the top clubs, only Merrin is any chance of being a rep player, the rest are daylight away.. most clubs have atleast a couple of aussie or international rep forwards, or atleast blokes who are the up and comers.

For all the talk about us having a mobile pack when has the team ever played to this supposed strength? We run one out and despite having some forwards with good ball playing they never pass before the line. I agree that our game plan has never changed to match our strength. Theres no point in the players and coaching staff banging on about being mobile when they don't capitalise on it.

The best thing that could happen is that an interim coach be appointed until such time that a suitable candidate becomes available and applies.

The interim can be anybody, but geeez, Neil Henry would add more value then the current regime.

Also I think we need to mention Doust has done us no favours with the stadium deal, yet another loss of a home ground advantage.. I mean im sure they would have won at Kogarah/WIN too, but not like this.

i.e. surely the damage thru lack of success far outweighs the benefits of a few thousand bums on seats.

Well said.
Seems the supporters understand that ... Why can't doust??

Totally agree Black Forest. Its time for change and a caretaker coach would be suitable until the club finds the best candidate available.

I would prefer them to hire a coach now that they see as a long term prospect, that way he can get over half a season with the squad immediately .Give him time to review the players, look at the ones he wants to move on and for the ones he wants to keep give them time to get used to his coaching style..
He then can start planning for next season and the team get a full off season under him..

But think about the risks of switching coach mid season! We might start getting belted 34-14 or 26-6 or 38-6 on a continual basis:sarcasm:

Doesn't matter who the coach is when our forwards don't have a dig. They were pathetic today. Over rated and soft. They are just not that good. Too many players with "potential"... Always been dragons problem. We hold on to far too many people for far too long.

Seriously, dan hunt is NOT offering anything.

I meant to say that the above has been mentioned at board level

Have they also mentioned at board level to sack Doust and do a major cleanup starting from the top??? I'm very certain the crowd today would of easily fit into kogarah and officially made it a home game. 21,000 people at homebush today.

These " marquee games" are joke just like our coaching staff and board. Brown as coach would be good, but he needs to be brought into a different environment. Not back into the same crap of when he first left.

OUST DOUST, DICE PRICE. Que Dino.

Agree T10. Forwards just didn't have a dig today. That was really pathetic. There was no heart in that performance at all.

That was totally disheartening and shameful. We don't know how good the halves really are because the forwards just aren't going forward. As Joey said towards the end, Marshall isn't going to make a difference because he (as do almost all halves) need the forwards taking the team forward.

Until that happens, no matter who we have in the halves, they are always going to look like shit.

The same board members saying Price to go are the same idiots who appointed Brown way to early and allow Doust to destroy the integrity by keeping his job.

I wouldn't trust a word they say until action is taken or do they need more fans walking away in disgust or totally confused about where the Dragons are heading.

Intsead of talking about it actually grow a set and do it if you love the club so much make the right call.

But seriously - do you see Steve Price as being the man that puts a rocket under their collective arses to get them to have a crack? ...put their bodies on the line?? ...instill passion in the RED V???

Instead we get that pathetic-pseudo-calm-mild-mannered-quietly-spoken-unphased-passive-aggressive-Wayne Bennett-wannabe that goes through the motions and believes his own rhetoric.

The goal for our forwards is to punch above their weight. That's what we all respect. It's Australian.

Steve Price cannot develop the right attitude amongst his men.

He's too worried about whether they take him seriously at all.

And actually this has been Price's biggest mistake. Poor recruitment in the forwards and an inability to acknowledge he was going into the season with such a weak pack. Until you get this right, you can't utilise your back line no matter the quality. It doesn't seem they respond to his coaching either.

RedVDragon its Millward for a start his team is second on the ladder and half his squad are semi professional players who have to work 5 days a week travelling to Sydney most of the time and then train after work.

Before you go off naming people to get the sack actually get the right ones first he's done a fine job having to deal with not knowing who he'll have available each week from the Dragons and his own players.

I rather have him as a coach than Price he has proven himself in the ESL hell even Ben Hornby and Dean Young are doing a better job instilling pride and passion into the NYC.

No I absolutely don't believe Steve price Should be the coach. Unfortunately I hear some senior players also don't believe he is the right man to be head coach. This was evident in their attitude today.
