Pricey gives it to Parra

Anyone see him on Foxsports news?? It was classic stuff He called them embarrasing, girls and he said that a few you few them should not turn up next week.

I wish he was our Assistant coach, Or a motivator before a game. The players would be eating nails for training to toughen them up.

Where is he complimenting the team when we are going great ?

Yet another quote from NRL's Human Headline.

Mate, give the media some credit. They know that ex-Eels from that era do not get on with Fitzy and will take the opportunity to give it to him if prompted. When things are going well there is nothing to beat up so the media doesnt invite Price or Kenny to comment. When things arent going so well, of course the media will seek them out for a comment - it sells papers.

Work out a way to get Price, Kenny, Sterling, etc back involved in the club on a day-to-day basis and you might just see some passion enter the current crop.

I can't see where he actually says the wrong thing? Price, along with Kenny and co installed pride in the Parramatta jersey and the current players are embarrasing it, the last 3 weeks have showed just how much our players are in it for the money and not the love.......our lower graders show 3 times as much passion and are on a 3rd of the money!!!

To be honest, you can't help feeling that a few of our blokes have had it too easy for too long, and been able to make a career out of mediocrity.

I can sympathise with Pricey's position on this one.

I agree. Near enough has been good enough.

good onya Pricey..on this occasion I applaud you.

we'll see how hungry we are on sunday infront of our home crowd, if they're as scared about being kinocked out of this comp as Hindy claims he is than i expect them to do our jersey proud, if not than we simply don't deserve to be there and if we still scrape in I probably won't even watching it because it'll be nothing more than a training run for Melbourne.

Mate, how many times do we need to say 'we'll see how hungry they are'

That's getting a bit tired as hearing the players talk about wake up calls.

I still think we've got the talent on paper to win the comp, and certainly should have finished with a home semi. I dont step away from that.

But, as Gus Gould has said, it takes more than just talent to win a comp.

as long as it takes..I questioned their committment after the sharks game and I'm doing it again now, infact if we I'd go as far as saying that it'll be a miracle if we progress to week 2 of the playoffs..

hate to say it but talent or no talent fact remains we've got nothing.:?

same here eela, I'm wondering if some of them are too busy thinking about their holiday at the end of it.

It'd be good to get Pricey down in the sheds to give em a spray

I think it's kinda rhetorical question, how hungry are we

If I was a fan of any other club in the finals, I'd be salivating at the chance of playing Parramatta in the finals

It might be something has been needed for a long time.....a true legend of the club letting them know exactly what it means to have pride in the jersey!!!

I would be too...

A month ago, I'd be thinking, geeze, those guys if they're on could tear us apart....now I'd be thinking, if we go hard, they'll fall apart and panic

I wouldn't of been this concerned had we lost that match up until round 20, anything after that is a joke..we should be stepping up a gear instead going through the motions after the effort they put in against the dogs.

I hope they are scared..because if they don't put in on sunday god help them after the game when they face those long suffering fans who have put in alot of time, effort and money to put up with it.

Ray Price also appears to be a long suffering fan

The fact of the matter is that we are a soft team and have been for years - and thats the fault of the management. Blame the management !!! The coaches, the trainers, the board members. If the officials at Parra accept what they are getting from the team then the team will deliver - its only human.

The players can talk it up as much as they like but the opposition players have heard it all before. Oh no - not the parramatta forwards ......
Soft to the core. you think we do it tough at home, can you imagine someone who really gave his all like Ray Price sitting there watching this bunch of pansys play ?

We as fans can see when players arnt giving their all - dont you think that ex players like pricey can ?

The differnence between the bronco players and the eels players is that the broncos expect that they will win whilst the parra players hope they will.
