Kasiano is in a different league to Pritchard.
Sign him up and forget Pritchard and chase someone else.

I'm intrigued, what's the rumor regarding his release? Maybe we can use the same one on Blair.

Dogs have just re-signed Pritchard. $1.6 million over three years. Glad we dodged that bullet.

Now, can we sign Kasiano?

Ronald comes up empty again. Okay we might have dodged a bullet, but the fact remains we seem to be on the nose in the market place, or we dont have the cap space or the bank balance to lure the better players to Concord. Hasler rates Pritchard so I guess he is no nuffty.

We are never going to climb the mountain again on the back of aging recruitment and a very good junior nursery. We need elite players in key positions to bring our kids on.

We need to move Ronald on and have a big re think on our recruitment policy

I completely agree. I didn't want Pritchard but if we have chased him and failed it doesn't say much about our recruitment, does it?

Is Kasiano even off contract?

I'm with you on moving Ronald on.
Can't think of one player that he has bought to the club that we can rave about.

He should have went with Sheens.

Its not necessarily a bad thing. It might just mean we didn't pay overs and get screwed ala Blair.

I'd rather miss out then pay overs.

Nope. Signed for 3 years last year.

It's quite interesting reading the comments in this thread. I felt EXACTLY the same about Pritchard when he came from Panthers and now I dead set love him. I don't think he is as dud as you guys are making out.

Can't believe some of you guys are glad we missed out on Pritchard!! Probably the same guys who were glad we didn't get Mason last year!! So this time next year when we are asking the same questions, remember would may have been!! These guys play against us and tear our guys to pieces. I for one wish that we had secured both Pritchard and Mason so that we could have got some starch into what is clearly a fragile forward pack!!

Pritchard used to be just a recking ball.

he`s since developed into a very good ball player that can pass & even chip kick when he sees an opportunity.

thats quality in my books.

I'm not glad we missed out on him. I do think though he is a risky proposition and I wouldn't want to pay overs for him.

Look at Blair - I'm not convinced Blair deserves a spot in the run on team and he barring Farah is probably our highest paid forward.

Blair, Pritchard, Mason all work well within very specific structures.

Structures we don't employ.

If Pritchard was at the club, he'd be a plodder because his strengths would not be utilised.

We need toilers up front, not ball players. Our structure revolves around Farah & Benji. More ball handlers, like Anasta, only weakens our side, not strengthens.

MU, here is the problem. Farah especially is a great creative player for us as is Benji but relying on them for our structure is now predictable and obvious. Every club has our measure now. We lack any sort of danger in attack these days. Ball playing forwards on top of our key players is probably exactly what we need.
If we are concerned that Mason or Pritchard would be plodders for us, then maybe we need to take a long hard look at the values within the club and where we are going wrong.
I have no doubt that we are going through a rebuild phase and Potter can only work with what Sheens has left behind. I want to see the tough/smart decisions made when it comes to players futures with us!!
