Proper Footy - Attn Quigs

I just watched the De La/Joeys A grade game which was on yesterday.

Quigs, you'd have loved it.

5 minutes after halftime it's on! Punches thrown, full on mellee. 1 bloke sent off. 2 to the bin and another to the bin in the following set. It was rough, tough and primitive footy with little skill on show.

And Quigs, to give you the ecstasies, De La got beat with a Joeys team with only 10 men at one stage actually scoring when they were behind to re take the lead!

Good to bloody here that proper footy is alive in The Shire. Vicious catolicks.

Well, well, well, the Mighty Emus kicked off the defence of the title with a win. Down 6 nil ten minutes in only to go on and crush the opposition 32 to 6.

Two Parkies binned one of them was for dissent. The fat useless prick of a ref got upset I believe when the player called him a fat useless prick. (not sure what he said but he deserved it)

Out of nick but still played the whole game without a break. No old Fifita magic, mainly used as a decoy or a link man. Tackled well. Plenty of niggle given and taken. Plenty of heroes trying to get at the big name. He laughed at them.

5/10. I'm gonna keep looking out for De La A Grade games to watch and see how he progresses.

Young Peachey was good. He runs just like Peach. If you didn't know who he was or his name you'd still say to yourself, that kid looks just like DP. He set up 2 tries I think.
