Proud Effort

Heartbreaking loss. Very proud of the effort tonight.

Tonight's effort doesn't make up for a disappointing season, though.

Out in week one of the finals is not a success. And I don't see it getting any better with Mary as coach and the same muppets in management.

Sorry to say, we're closer to the likes of Tigers and Titans than the Roosters and Broncos. Our recruiting will not bridge that gap.

Mary can't coach nor can he recruit big names. In fact, it's quite the opposite as we have seen with Morris and Merrin. Don't start me on our attack structures and game plans.

Proud but bitter.

Fair dinkum, not only did Widdop get up from that but he also kicked a goal.

Cheap shot stuff from Kasiano and Pritchard. I understand the incident is on report so at least one of them should be suspended. Easts will benefit the most.

Why at least one Willow, they both should go.....one dropped the knee into the back and the other the forearm into the head within seconds of each other into a bloke on the deck......cheap and grubby for mine and I hope it costs them a game next week...go The Roosters

it was a courageous effort no doubt but can anyone recall how many times we were in the oppositions quarter? how about when benji was injured, who did we have playing half? a bloody utility forward. we couldnt attack. the way the bull cheats were playing if we had 2 fast centres we would of gotten to the tryline.

what frustrates me is that the guy that scored the try and one of the best forwards on the field will be leaving us

So if one of the dogs halves get injured who do they play there??
I hope your not talking about Merrin being one of the best on the field, he was average at best.

Proud of the boys tonight at least they stood up and gave it back to the bullgrubs. Think the salary cap Rorters will do them easily next week. Go REDV

That's the gutsiest effort from the team since they lost to the Broncos in the finals in 2011. We all knew they were outgunned going into the game but they nearly won anyway. A lot of injuries and a couple of crucial turning points. I'm proud of the boys. I know it was probably a commercial decision, but do you think Brett Morris feels like a treacherous turd? Going to the bulldogs is kind of like fighting for the Taliban - basically the same fan base.

This was a team that many were predicting would win the wooden spoon, vs last years runners-up. We had a lot of injuries and still took them to golden point. VERY proud. Hoo- rah Dragons. Only moving on up for 2016!

You are not worth a thought or breath it takes to muster any kind of defense to , for our team the usual shit keeps spewing out of your cake hole. BTW your off your head the Tigers arent playing this week & we'll see how we go next year even better than this one objective spew :BDH:](*,)[-X:blahb:

It was their best performance of the year and there are definitely great signs for next year. There wasn't a single bad player last night, Dugan and Widdop in particular were outstanding.

The team just needs belief now, that would have helped them close out the game at 8-6. The really good teams would not have conceded that last try from a scrum on their own line.

Still, a proud effort, Mary and the team should hold their head up high.
