PC, until such time as they have must-have games out. Then either. Not going opening day like last time, don't want another RRoD.

Xbox controls fit my hands better, Dual shocks are so tiny. Leaning towards the bone for that reason. But still, it will take a game of epic proportions to get me a new system.

I had the same problem, great games ruined by a terrible controller (too small, sticks with no resistance and crappy triggers). However the dual shock is actually bigger than the xbox one this gen.

I'm surprised to see the PS4 controller is larger than the One's.....it's a darn good change. Personally, I always preferred the PS controllers anyway, despite having large hands. Might be a nostalgia thing all the way back to the 90s though.

Anyone else excited to see what Sony unveils at Gamescom and TGS? They did say 20 exclusives and 12 new IPs in the first year, as opposed to Microsofts' 15 and 8, respectively. Sony did say that E3, unlike Microsoft, was less about their big gun games and more about the launch titles they already announced, meaning we can expect some big announcements at the next few game conferences.

In fact, from the confirmed games, you can pretty much guess that there will be quite a few returning franchises announced soon. Of the eight that aren't new IPs, we only know about Killzone and inFamous, unless you count DCUO and Planetside 2. Given that Naughty Dog's second team hasn't said anything for a while, we should be due a next-gen Uncharted in 2014. Santa Monica may be working on a God of War title, but it is hard to say given the easter egg in Ascension. There won't be a next-gen Gran Turismo within the first year. It doesn't seem like there will be a Ratchet and Clank either given the recent PS3 announcement. Kind of really narrows down the list....Jak and Daxter could be substituted for Uncharted. There won't be a Motorstorm either as they are working on Drive Club.

I would say Littlebigplanet 3 will probably appear at Gamescom. MLB: The Show, maybe? Gah, too few answers....

On a related note, I'm personally expecting the big announcement at TGS to be The Last Guardian is now a PS4 game.

I've never heard about that Youtube Channel before but they seem a bit....off. I clicked on their main page to see how many subscribers they have and the video that pops up has a lady in a bikini talking about games. Ummm, what?

Anyway, it's hard to argue with that list. Four of them are based on fact - and a note here that cloud computing can't actually boost the performance of the One - though the first one they show is definitely opinion-based. I'm sure most will think the PS4 design looks better - like a modern and flashy PS2 - as opposed to the VCR look of the One, but I wouldn't exactly list it with the others.

They have 400,000+ subscribers. They are part of the Zoomin.TV network which also covers other things including babes. Tara, the chick you're referring to, regardless of how big her boobs are, is a very knowledgeable gamer chick and knows her stuff. They obviously use chicks to help boost ratings but hey, whatever works for them!

Yeah they have a lot of viewers, but I dunno, that just seems wrong to me. It just promotes the stereotype that men play games more than women, even though that is no longer the case.

Anyway, the 35 indie games on PS4 is really eye-opening. I'm not sure how many of them are on the One as well - I would assume most of them - but that is pretty impressive nonetheless.

Also, it turns out that the second wave of consoles may not even be out until next year, or at least for the PS4. An EB Games representative thinks that the next wave won't be for a while at least. Damnit, why didn't I pre-order sooner :( If I am lucky I will get it before Christmas. At the very least, I can pick up all the controllers and games so that when I host gaming nights my friends won't be all lonely lol.

Ps4 release Date confirmed: November 29

November 15 in the US.

Coupled with that over 1 million pre-orders already and launching in 30+ countries in 2013.

AC4 and watch dogs have around 1 hour of additional exclusive content.

If you buy PS Plus online in the next month get an additional 3 months free for europe (so may apply to australia considering we are on the same offering).

Many upgrade deals negotiated with publishers EA, activision and ubisoft... If you buy on PS3 you can buy the digital version significantly discounted on PS4.

Additional indie game for free alongside drive club called resogun.

A bucketload of indie games also announced.

Overall pretty good showing, no doubt more to come at TGS from Sony worldwide studios as they said there are actively developed, unannounced titles from Naughty Dog, Sony Santa Monica etc.

PS Vita also got a bucketload of titles announced and a price drop. Borderlands 2 is coming to vita plus remote play was demoed for AC4.

Titanfall... fapfapfapfap

The more I see of this game, the more I want it. That demo today at the EA conference was phenomenal.

I'm not grabbing an Xbox one on launch day, but intend to in Q1 2014. It'll likely be the day that titanfall comes out.

I can think of a few reasons...

1 - Fabricating, producing and distributing a completely separate device is more costly.
2 - It will ensure market saturation of Kinect.
3 - Game developers can rely on it as a feature of all xboxes, rather than a tag-on, only some people have it type of gimmick.
4 - It is already a part of their circuit designs, some of the software already written for the dashboard uses it and/or relies on it, etc... which may well already be in mass production by now... or at the very least at a very late prototyping stage... and would be costly to remove and/or change.

That's 4 off the top of my head.

Listen to the giantbomb cast and they will effectively tell you that all devs they have spoken to would rather not create content related to the Kinect if they dont have to.

Market saturation sure but if the machine architecture doesnt REQUIRE it to work like they first announced then built in dashboard and OS software and operations are redundant now seeing as it is no longer actually required to run your xbox like first announced.

With the back flipping that they have done to this point i wouldnt be suprised if they do remove it from the box or at the very least release a boxed version without it for cheaper.

They are already including headsets in the box now, something they werent doing on first announcing it.

Rumours that Fifa 14 will come free with pre-order of the Xbone in EU.

Pretty smart move imo.

Link

To update this, Xbox One pre-orders in Australia also include Fifa 14.

Given that the price difference here is only $50, that's pretty massive news.
