Joe O deserves a massive wrap. I forget what game it was but he hit someone high. There was nothing in it but it was a penalty. He was visibly frustrated with himself. Whenever I hear him talk he is talking about executing better. He is a professional footy player.

Gus said that half a dozen players will leave as a result of punting Madge. I was expecting the same thing when Morris got punted at the Sharks, but after seeing no Sharks player after Morris was sacked, I can’t see anyone leaving here either.

I was wondering this morning though if Brooks might now be given the call to look elsewhere?
My thinking is that the club has a 7 and a good back up in Madden.
They have a 6 in Doueihi, he has been tried at fullback and did just OK, tried on the wing and he's too slow for that, we have seen him in the centres and it was a waste of his ball handling skills and whilst he is big enough his defence is not the best. Like for Hastings, Madden is more than an ample replacement for Doueihi.

In regards to Gus saying 6, well Gus may simply say that he meant there's 6 going anyway? think, Garner, Leilua, Tuilagi, Tamou perhaps, Simpkin perhaps, Roberts even? and who knows there might be a POM who realises he's too small and slow for this NRL stuff?

I have no info on anything regarding this, but can't help feel he may have been white anted by a player to the chairman? Not saying our results were great, but the (1st) Souths and Eels game showed we were capable and some of the players just weren't trying in the end, again?

Others ( I think it was McNaz?) have said on here Madge wanted to but was allowed to punt Brooks in the off season, I don't see why he leaves now.

Well if the player who may have white anted him to the chairman doesn't put in a man of the match performance from his position on Sunday, he should go as well.

He, the white anter, is there such a word, needs to be faster than a Saab, for starters.

Jackson Hastings is everything we have needed at this club for so long and I feel like we've undone this with Madge's sacking. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Jacko sign with another club during the off season

Hopefully Maguire doesn’t get a head coaching job anytime soon.Imo his only hope is the warriors.It would seriously be insane to employ someone who has presided over a team that has continued to regress over the last 4 yrs.It’s absolutely essential we extend JH’s contract b4 Nov 1.
