Well your first post accused the new board of leaking the report amongst other insinuations.

I merely expressed my observation, nothing personal.

Merely observing from what I heard from a mate whos friends with a new "big mouth big boast" board member

spider, mates dont gossip. thats a chicks job

I suggest some read back, I never said gossip - I merely pointed out that you substantiated a claim with a 'mate told me'.

Not much credibility on that for a new member in lieu of you attacking the board.

As for rothfield tweeting Coleman's resignation, it wasn't a secret by that stage, but I'm sure your mate can substantiate that too, as many can.

I dont doubt for a second that his rants are 95% bang on.
Rothfield is a k.hunt & hes got a direct line to the k.hunts on the baord in lie of advertising.

Usually you call anyone on credibility and backing a claim reefy, but here you may be flat footed due to your dislike of the new board.

FTR - Coleman was never continuing but he waited for the board meeting, it was no big secret.

Just watched it.

Ings sounded a little different then before. Certainly less rah rah about the whole thing. Wonder if he was told to pull his head in or he's beginning to question how things are running.

Hooper very passionate about the Kavanagh report.

Hadley could barely contain his disgust at the whole thing ( unless he always looks like that).

Yes I can see the similarities

Sharks employed dank for 11 weeks after he worked for manly for a number of years, during which time he was investigated by asada and given the all clear.

In his 11 week period at the sharks he gave injections prior to three games, what for who knows but peptides are a daily thing given at night and post workout.

The other massive accusation is he gave 3 players humanofort which contains igf-1 which when analyzed by the therapeutic grugs agency was found not to contain igf-1

Then we have the mysterious cream prior to kickoff, again who would use a peptide prior to kick off.

Yes I can see the parralels to lance Armstrong.

THE drugs don't work. English rock band The Verve once sung that. They mightn't work - peptides included - but the drugs are tearing poor old Cronulla in two.

We are told there is a natural divide forming between the players over the issue - those who were there in 2011 when players allegedly used peptides under the supervision of Stephen Dank and those who were not.

It is one of the understandable consequences of this botched ASADA investigation, which is moving at the speed of a startled turtle. Indeed, it took one of those who were not there two years ago in five-eighth Todd Carney to come out swinging for his teammates yesterday.

"I believe no player in the game has done anything wrong," he told The Big Sports Breakfast on Sky Sports Radio. "I hope ... well, I believe, that ASADA's got nothing. I do agree it might get a bit uglier with the headlines. I don't think any action will be taken. I hope not."

That might be wishful thinking, but at least he's come out and said something about the issue because nobody else at the club has in recent weeks, aside from captain Paul Gallen. The drugs issue is not going away for the Sharks and those at board level must speak.

Privately, many at the club have serious misgivings about Trish Kavanagh's report into that 11-week period in 2011 but as long as ASADA has it - and The Daily Telegraph keeps publishing extracts from it - the issue is not going away.

Chairman Glenn Coleman fell on his sword this week, but as we understand it he was going to be pushed aside by a new faction, headed by his replacement Damien Keogh, anyway. There are serious questions that need to be addressed before any further damage can be done to Cronulla.

Most crucially, it needs to be clearly established that coach Shane Flanagan did not know about any use of peptides after he told Dr David Givney they would stop. For Flanagan's sake as much as the club.
