Here we go again. NSW loose, and it's everyboy's fault except....the NSW players.
Hayne's no try decision was correct IMO.

QLD 1-0 up. Move on...NSW losers!!!

It only takes one angle. Hayne stepped on the line
Same goes for you Saab.... there is no f**king way u can say 100 % he touched it. Benifit of the doubt goes to the attacking team .. simple as that. BLACK AND FRIGGIN WHITE

Anyone who thinks Hayne stepped on that line is a f**king idiot. His boot was above the line, there is no way it was actually ON it. At the very best - inconclusive, in which, benefit of the doubt try.

I thought it was an absolute joke and took a lot out of the game. It's hard to say as a NSW fan that that is a neutral perspective but it was a f**king sh*t way to start an Origin match - an absolute dud call that just re-affirms suspicions that Video refs are epic fail.

Hayne stepped on the line clear as day, if you want to blame someone for the loss blame Campese, Lyon, McManus for not showing up (although we all know Lyon didnt want to be there anyway) and Gidley for having an absolute shocker, whats the shortest stint a player has ever served as captain of an origin team LOL?

This thread ignores the simple fact NSW played sh*te for 60 minutes and woke up to find they were still in with a chance. The Refs did not decide the game at all. Next game will be better.

No one has mentioned the Folau penalty either. Absolutely pathetic.

QLD were the better side and deserved to win, still doesn't make these decisions any better.

Hayne no try

Creagh penalty for playing the ball too quickly

Falou penalty

Thaiday intercept - he was never onside and was at the time nsw had all the momentum

Hayne no try and Folau penalty were simply disgraceful. Absolutely pathetic calls.

Hayne no try is easily the worst decision i've ever seen by a video ref in Origin.

Ever.

Shocking.

Are you blind?

His heel 'appears' to possibly touch the line from the front on angle but the camera angle from behind shows Hayne's heel never touched the ground and hence never touched the line.

Hayne should have been awarded that try. If the touch judge didn't call it at the time, then it should be a try. If the video ref needs to look at it 6 or 7 times including repeated viewings of the same angle, then it should be a try.

Looks on the line to me, no question. I can't believe it took them so many replays to get it right.

Lyon didn't play pathetic. As for Gids- two mistakes, so what? Plenty of great players have made mistakes in Origin. If you were basing player credentials on one crap game, then Laurie Daley and Justin Hodges would have been one Origin match wonders!

The foot on the line call was a good call, in between frames, but he clearly came into contact with a portion of the line. The next try was 50/50 too with the flick over his head. It was awarded but I'm not too fussed, the better team won in the end and it evened itself out.

Yet again NSW supporters try to blame the ref. Take a look at your own players ffs. Gidley msitake after mistake, absolute joke of a kicking game...Ref's didn't have an influence on the outcome. QLD rocked up to play from the first minute. Took NSW 50 minutes to turn up. That was the difference in the end.

It doesnt matter what a rear shot, above shot, reverse underwater infra red shot shows, as long as ONE shot clearly shows his foot touching the line like that shot does then thats all that matters. There can be no question

If you have 350 looks at the Replay of the Hayne incident you are CLEARLY NOT sure.

It had to be benefit of the doubt. Terrible Call.

In that still shot above Jarrod Hayne's heal is off the ground

there was no evidence of him hitting the line.

Queensland got the rub of the green, AND outplayed us, we needed the luck to go our way to win it, and we didn't get it. That's football.

I was livid with the Hayne No-Try call however, some of the best footwork down the sideline you'll ever see and they take the try away from him. Disgraceful.

They got the square up with the Creagh try....My 6 y.o. son even picked up that if you pass the ball a metre from the try line and it lands a metre inside the in goal that it must be a forward pass...They got that one on a technacality

the touch judge was right behind hayne and closer to the ground than the camera .. if hayne touched the line the touchie should've seen it.

Disallowed Hayne try, followed by a Queensland try. They give the Hayne try it's a completely different ball game (Queensland probably still win, but the context of the game changes). A square up at 18-2 isn't really much help.

Also I thought it was a 50-50 on the Creagh try, you can argue Hayne threw it backwards and it drifted forwards with his momentum (which he had a lot of). I won't get into the nitty gritty of the physics of it.
