With the injuries there really isn't much depth at centre. Ageing warriors Gagai & Capewell probably weren't in the frame. Howarth is injured as well.

Same old stale format that pitches it to dying media. The QRL are hopelessly out of touch on this.

Scheduling didn't help matters. Fancy having a 6pm game the night the Origin team is picked.

Should have both teams announce their squads at 6:00pm on Sunday, let that simmer, then go nuts with the press on Monday.
