Without a doubt we were cheated out of that win. The first try is the only thing you need to point to, nothing else!

But its not cheating.
It's poor refereeing.

Well 12 months ago everyone was happy just to be in the 8 let alone taking it to possibly one of the best teams to play the NRL along with the refs. We've over acheived and aint nobody praising the storm right now, they're all talking Parra!!

They have been penalising contact with the head for years regardless of whether the player slips. You know that they will get the 50/50s down there and we were in the game despite that. We needed to not give them free points, which Ma'u essentially did by blatantly taking out Slater, and Brown cost us the final say with an unnecessary piece of play when they were just looking to drop, create a surrender and have an excuse to waste time.

Dumb footy cost us that game. Individual moments in big games can be crucial and unfortunately they were tonight.

We could of played smarter but a fair go and we win by 6-8 points.

They scored one legitimate try and the penalty was off a blatant dropped ball.

Taka taken out right in front of Cumstains and it's all good.

They throw a 1000 foward passes yet they call ours.

Watched the game in a house full of QLDErrps and even they admitted the better side lost.

BA take a bow out coached the cheat. We will win a comp with this man if not this year it will be soon. On paper it was a missmatch and it took the refs to get the grubs home.

So proud.

We also lost Tep who was having a stormer.

Ben Cummins deserved to be mounted by Isaiah with no lube.

I feel for the Parra fans who made the trip to see that farce. Chin up fellas.

BS forward pass for the first try. BS penalty for Slater milking the "obstruction". Taka got no such penalty late in the first half when he actually had a chance to go for the ball. Slater had no chance of contesting that kick. We got one penalty in the second half - what a surprise. No matter how long the Storm wrestled in the ruck, no penalty.

Also, we needed to put the man on the ground for both of the Storm's second half tries. I could not believe how poor we were at shutting the play down. Very disappointing as the game was there to be won.

Semi was offside for the kick before his try. But it's ok when it's Parra right?

Shit calls will always go against you. We were in the game regardless and a couple of dumb moments cost us the game.

Well great effort by the boys!! Everyone gave us no chance and we lost by a goal!!

Considering the lack of experience in our side compared to the storm, it was an amazing effort!!

Boys need to keep their heads up and now focus on next, play like today and we should go close.

Pretty sure Semi knocking the kick back to Taka constitutes "being involved".

Look if you blokes want to blame the refs, go for it. Whatever makes you feel better about yourselves. But we lost that because of some dumb footy at crucial times.

Overall great effort considering we lost Tepai and had no Bevan. Smith had a great game
