How nervous are you guys about this game?

Personally my heart is going through the roof. I just keep thinking back to that game in Round 22 where we did really well to come away with a one point victory with a near full strength line-up. Now without our extremely reliable fullback and potentially our future captain it's going to take one hell of an effort to extend our 2011 campaign. It's not to say I've written off the boys chances, nor Thaiday's chances of playing (according to the CM he could still play if he gets it downgraded to a Grade 1) but we've certainly got our hands full.

What I expect to see line-up come Saturday...

1. Gerard Beale
2. Dale Copley
3. Jack Reed
4. Justin Hodges
5. Jharal Yow Yeh
6. Darren Lockyer
7. Peter Wallace
8. Josh McGuire
9. Andrew McCullough
10. Ben Hannant
11. Alex Glenn
12. Ben Te'o
13. Corey Parker

14. Matt Gillett
15. Ben Hunt
16. Scott Anderson
17. Mitchell Dodds

*If Thaiday plays, Teó moved to the bench in place of Dodds.

Personally I think our best chance of winning is to simply stick to a simple terrotorial gameplan where we focus on defence and try and get the tries by playing direct footy and catching them short on the fringes. While it's easier said than done and they've got players who can really hurt you in broken play if we stick to this plan for the 80 we can get them.

It's going to be tough, but if the boys are up to it, we can win.

All the best to every Warriors supporter. Feel free to join in the discussion and may the best team win.

Beale is a worthy replacement and I'm looking forward to seeing him at fullback. Hopefully Copley has a good game, he's usually hot or cold.

We usually struggle against the warriors, its a bit of a must win game seeing as if we lose it'll be a trip to Sydney to play dragons or tigers which would be tough. We need to stay at home as long as possible.

Beale at fullback will go good, big fan of him. Not sure about this Copely fella, haven't seen much of him. Hopefully for us Vatuvei comes back firing up against him.

I'm really worried about Copley, I don't think he brings anything to the team. He is extremely suspect under the high ball and from what I have seen, isn't a good defender.

I hope he proves me wrong but I have my doubts!

The Warriors will score points, probably at least 18. We seem to get ourselves into great position with lots of ball but we can't seem to convert. Now that Thaiday is out it means we will have to change our attack and hopefully be more unpredictable. It always seems to go to Locky to Thaiday in every attacking move on the left side.

From memory Beale is great at fullback; Teo has always struck me as a tad flaky.

You definitely lose a lot with Thaiday out. His taking the ball to the line and offloading for a Lockyer cutout pass is the kind of play that destroys our compressed defense.

The ginger centre who carved us last time will do a number on Tupou again I'd say.

Tupou's wing is by far our weakest spot, though the make up of our team remains to be seen as Vatuvei will be back, Berrigan should be back and Heremaia MAY be back.
I really hope Heremaia plays as Mara was a turnstile around the ruck when the Cowboys targetted him last week.

Its going to be a great game, too close to call. Thaiday and Hoffman out but Lockyer hype factor and home crowd. As a warriors fan, Warriors v Broncos matches are probably my favourite (and us v Melbourne). Good luck for the finals Bronco's fans, just not this Saturday...

Oh, wait... this just in:

1. Kevin Locke
2. Bill Tupou
3. Joel Moon
4. Shaun Berrigan
5. Manu Vatuvei
6. James Maloney
7. Shaun Johnson
8. Sam Rapira
9. Aaron Heremaia
10. Jacob Lillyman
11. Feleti Mateo
12. Simon Mannering (c)
13. Micheal Luck

Interchange:
14. Lance Hohaia
15. Russell Packer
16. Ben Matulino
17. Ukuma Ta’ai
18. Lewis Brown

...Inu dropped, Tupou back in.
Billy will run hard and get involved but he's good for at least 1 try through amateurish defense against cut-out passes.
You guys are in with a grin.

Their halves scare the crap out of me tbh.

With Hoffman and Thaiday out this game is definitely back on level pegging. I think our attack needs to improve somehow, the Warriors are always gunna score points.

As a Warriors fan, this is one of our most exciting finals match up's ever for us...
Broncos at Suncorp is one those games I get excited the most about every year.
Two in a year is great.

Can't wait for Saturday!

I think the emotion around Lockeyer will get you guys home (and deep into the semis) but no Thaiday and Hoffman certainly even's thing up.

WE GOT THIS (jokes)

why did we take the early guilty plea on thaiday???? two weeks is so ridiculous. trying to lift his team it was a great tackle that went slightly wrong. didnt put him on his neck or anything. and their was nothing malicious in it. what a shit call by the judiciary. 2 for this and 3 for what stewart did? 1 tops.

You have to think of the precident it would set if he was only given 1 week. No malice in it but it did go wrong. I think 2 weeks is a suitable penalty.
