Queensland 19's

Interesting to hear a player may not be considered for one of the Qld 19's side because he may play too many first grade games. The player said he'd rather be playing first grade than Colts as any player would.
It was one of the players goals to make Qld 19's and now may not be picked because he's playing well to be in first grade rather than colts.

Am I the only one who thinks this is strange.

Didn't they have two Qld sides last year - one selected from NRL/state league players, and another selected from the u/19s comp? If this was to be the case again, I'd have thought the player you are referring to would have been a likely contender for the first of those two sides. If he didn't make the cut for the first team, he should definitely be selected for the second. If he isn't, because he's played too many Qld Cup games, it's a joke.

Apparently he has more chance making the open Brisbane side than the 19's
