WA currently lead by 59 runs at 5/309 at lunch with Voges (75*) and Johnson (9*) at the crease. Earlier 18 year old Marcus Harris scored an impressive 157 while Test stars Michael Hussey and Marcus North were dismissed relatively cheaply.

On the bowling side of things Duffield (4/57) and Coulter-Nile (3/61) were the chief destroyers.

For Queensland Hopes once again stood solely as the best batsmen (80) and bowler (2/48). Joe Burns also made a tidy contribution with the bat (58) and youngster McDermott has picked up 2 wickets (2/77).

WA 8/393

Voges reached his 10th First Class century before being dismissed for 108. Johnson made 46 before Floros (1/50) made the break through.

Hopes (3/61) and Feldman (1/93) were the other wicket takers.

Floros is due, he has been talked up but has been the least inspiring of the kids IMO.

Floros is more of an limited overs player, but he did well bringing up 60.
