I usually wait until after they've played their first game to name them. Walsh, Luki, B. Hunt etc. should be added in the weeks to come.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens with that right centre position. Gagai's best days are behind him and while he's been a great servant for Queensland he's going to have to earn his spot.

It's a good test for Billy, I can't think of one selection he got wrong last series.

Oloapu represented Sunshine Coast at the QSS U12 championships. So just sneaks in I think.

Billy Slater has spoken of Josh Papalii’s immense contribution to the Queensland Maroons following the Canberra Raiders star’s decision to retire from State of Origin football.

The Raiders forward spoke with Slater earlier this week to inform the Maroons head coach of his decision.
