Why were certain 'Fixed Odds' races unable to be put in doubles today???
I wanted to back De Lago Mist in Melbourne (Sires Produce) into Strada in Sydney (Eskimo Prince Stakes).
I was told that the event was unable to be put in a double (ie the Sires Produce). The Sweet Embrace Stakes was anohter that was unable to be put in doubles.
I don't get a chance some afternoons to make my bets and am usually making a few fixed odds doubles.
Obviously dirty on the fact that De Lago Mist and Strada both won and the double would have been about 70/1 that I wanted to be on.
Any reason why they weren't able to be put in doubles? Coleman, you know?
