Question about Matt Dufty

Today on the Sunday Footy Show, Fittler mentioned that it was pretty much known that Dufty is free to look somewhere else. This was news to me.

Anyone know anything about this? I swear he resigned?

My take is that Dufty has requested an opportunity to look elsewhere.

Obviously losing his fullback spot and with the talk of Lomax taking it next year, plus McGregor openly saying that Sailor had moved ahead of him in the queue, it'd pretty clear he wont play 1st grade anytime soon, so why not test the waters? The Titans maybe the only destination though, otherwise he'll have to cool his heels in CC.

Dufty May have resigned but won’t get a shot here but I’m sure under the right coach he would be amazing expect Bennett to look at him very closely

It looks like he is on the outer but I doubt the club would admit it.

I'd be surprised if he wasn't linked to a Super League club but will see what happens

Dufty is lucky Hornby moved him to fullback because he would have never got this far...

Correct...just like they will announce new staff in the off season with the hope that no one pays attention...it's their modus operandi.

funny that we see poor form .des hasler and the manly boys see something completely different .

Too hard basket for Mary and his mates. A decent coach probably could have made it work.

Always thought it was wrong to hang onto someone who can score some amazing tries. We don’t need him we have so many attacking weapons across the park and anyway our ‘D’ is the most important thing and our defence is winning us so many games.

So it is good enough to send a player packing even when he has a couple of years to go on his contract but not good enough when it is the coach ? Everything the club does seems to be to accommodate the coach not the players .
