Kaz a question. Why do you always laugh at your own comments and jokes?

Mate, i've asked this same thing for the last 2 years. Another good question is why she persists in using a 1000 frigging smilies in every post, it doesn't convey anything of any substance, just makes her look like she's 14.

:) :) :) :? :? ;-)    :x :x

See what I mean?

Anywho, no offers huh Kaz? Interesting, must've been all a media concoction when Joey went and met with Union eh? Funny you bring this up with the benefit of hindsight, yet when the events were unfolding, your 2 cents were missing! I remember this because it made me laugh.

And Charlie Saab, i've said this before, how much is Lockyer on? Fairly safe to assume he's on 400k+... I'm waiting for your point about Joey's contract.

I posted that Joey wouldn't go to Union.

An two points.

1. He wouldn't leave his son.

2. He wouldn't be the centre of attention in Union for long.

I also stated that it was a media beat up.

I even told certain members here that it was a load of garbage made up by his manager.

I probably posted something about it in the NRL section.

Johnsy said in an interview ONLY a few days ago HE WAS BORED WITH RL and was within seconds of sighning up for R. UNION, he is bored with playing for the same team the same team mates......
What does that tell you?

He was never going to Union. He used the Union story to get as much money from the Knights as possible (He succeeded in 3 party sponsorship as well)

Could it be that there were NO other offers.

I don't believe that why wouldn't union want the best player in the world?

If a club is going to throw big bucks at you to stay around what do you do? no, I'm sorry I don't think it is a load of rubbish we will see how things pan out further down the track

Yeah...I'm not sure how familiar you are with the english language.

Do you know they difference between the words "WAS" (which Andrew said he was last year) and "IS" (which you are saying Andrew is now).

Clearly he was not in a comfort zone last Sunday - he was one of only a few players trying his butt off out on the field - he was one of a few who had a go in attack, in defence, the only one to create any scoring opportunities.

In fact he was so comfortable with his position he skipped the press conference and was first on the bus to get out of Melbourne - that sounds more like "humbled" or "embarrased" than "comfort zone".

You have totally taken Joey's words out of context - and quite pooly at it.

Quite pooly EH!

I am not just talking about one friggen game ALEX! hullllllllll-O, can you think past one game ALEX?????????

You are centering your argument on how he played on Sunday, I know he has just come back from an operation and he hasn't played for a long time so its natural he will need time to get match fit, what I'm saying has he the DESIRE the PASSION to push himself anymore I don't think so he's at the top of his game now and is ready to retire, where is the incentive the motivation if you like.

You say I have taken joey's words out of context what has changed for him to work his guts out now [and its less than a year since he resighned the contract] when the rest of the team put in half an effort?
I am not anti Joey I think he's one of the greatest, if not the best player I have seen in the game.

To be honest in season 2003 (which he played most of) his game was down on what we were used to seeing, his enthusiasm was down as well, I clearly remember threads on the subject. One was sparked by a decission to take a short kick off just prior to half time in a game against the Panthers that we were leading comfortably, it back fired they scored and went on to win the game after Joey seemed to lose interest in the second half. His kicking game was off too, his whole demeanure on the field was different, I don't know if it was his personal troubles at the time or what, but he wasn't the player of previous years. Lets hope that's all behind him now and he gets his confidence back because if ever this club needed him it's now.

you didn't say anything like that Misty (or in your words - Hulllllllllll-o!) - you said he is in a comfort zone NOW - not in the past, right now. You weren't asking any questions about his desire or passion - you made a statement...
