To your point Billy, I am watching the u20's and I have to agree. Sam Scarlett looks very ordinary and the 5/6th seems to just catch and pass. They do not look very well organised in attack and lack any sort of structure. I doubt they can make the top 4 with this side and it will be a challenge to make the eight.

Yep, it was based on watching this game. Obviously, we are pinning our hopes on Soward and Wallace this season, and in the next two, but it would be nice to actually have a young half (or halves) being groomed over that time to possibly take over, rather than just relying on buying someone who is off-contract around the time Wallace leaves (which I assume is the current strategy we have to pursue given the current paucity of halves). I mean, we have John, Humble, Capewell, Scarlett, Branckenhoffer. That's not encouraging. Especially as I don't particularly rate Wallace either.

He must be bad, he is only a 5/6th, he doesn't even qualify as a 5/8!!!

Hopefully Nick Politis was only the video ref in the 20's game. Some of those decisions were disgraceful.

Nor is Yeo so the predicted reshuffle from within the 18 named could still be on.
Scarlett has looked good at times. Hopefully him and Moylan can kick on in the halves. I wonder how Evans is going at the Eels. Last I heard was not flash.

NSW Cup team playing very well. They must be due to fall asleep soon, though.

Not a fan of Yeo being the 18th man. Means either him or DWZ will miss a game this week.

Wes looked bad early on, but has since scored 2 tries and our backs look far superior at linking up with each other. Our defence looks lazy... But probably because it's too easy to win for them. I think we play in second hear until we need that extra gear.

Great play by Wes there. Stopped a 7 tackles set and almost forced a drop out. Reuben saved the day though.

At least commentators know who he is. They called Nathan Smith a 25 year old from Bowraville (I think it was) who spent time with the Eels before us.

Got him confused with a player who I think has never played a first grade game. You would expect the opposite mistake to happen.
