Can't wait for team list this week first picked Kyle Flanagan .
This season is why we are in this position he having the no 7 on his back .
He will go down as the half back of the century in the Red V to not win us a game but to possibly win us a spoon for 2025.
JM you don't mind Flano, fair enough.
But how do get past the fact he keeps picking Kyle despite the losses?

Disappointing, Surely this was Nicks chance and now he's injured.
Nick along with Egan didn't even get a chance for development this year.
Still no LPT in the side.
Halangahu only 18th man, if he's lucky he will play in 1 or 2 games.
Can't see how we can win this game, too many injures, too many Blake Lawrie's.
On the bench, I would rather see:
Sele rplaced by LPT
Lawrie replaced by Halangahu

@maestro1 must be really excited seeing the big in of damaging front rower Hame Sele who is one of our best forwards according to him, despite only playing 13 games in two seasons.

Regardless who is surprised with this crap team sheet? Leopards don't change their spots so we see the same old:

- Kyle getting picked after each crap performance.

- Promising young forwards like LPT and Halangahu not getting a look in. Instead we go with guys like Lawrie.

- Opportunity to give Buchanan a run in the backs but nah why bother.

Absolute rubbish.

Never thought I’d say this but I’m starting to agree with you and I’m a big Flanno fan, sad really.

Flanno is in the same rut that Griffin was in...picking the same team week in week out...too scared of getting the wooden spoon to give match time to some the younger forwards like LPT and Halangahu....or mixing up the halves a bit...such a pity but I get it as the wooden spoon is a real possibility

I don't think these selections would save us from a spoon any more than what some of the insipid selections would.

I prefer Ryles' approach with the eels, he copped some flack for dropping Dylan Brown and could've easily brought him back the next week when Iongi got injured, but he stuck to his guns, said the future is now, low and behold they manage to beat Brisbane last week.

Better to go down swinging I reckon.

100% Flanagan, Griffin and McGregor about the same quality coach, very disappointing ,Flanagan was ok last year however he has outdated coaching techniques and refuses to change.

I mean what do you even say to that...

So much deadwood trying to float a professional rugby league team and against the number one team.
This is abysmal.

I can already see the question on an NRL quiz:
Q: Who has coached the Cronulla Sutherland Sharks to their 1st premiership and the St George Illawarra Dragons to their 1st wooden spoon?

The swamp would count both these feats equally heroic.
