Although I would have picked Jack x5 over Klemmer in terms of a Top30 spot.. Jack probably wants 500-600k+, Klem (if we have a free spot) probably comes in more like 300-350k.. so there is that.. Personally if we could find a way to offload a couple early and keep Klem as a cheapy.. id be happy..

The Jury is still out.. Daniel & Tim out there trying to get us 2026 upgrades.. if they succeed then maybe we dont need Klemmer.. but if they dont.. and weve tried and missed so so so many players.. maybe he stays on..

I did enjoy Klemmer laughing at Tapine who was carrying on like an absolute pork chop as always.. was it him or Hudson who were pretending like they had a crusher tackle, but they were the one that had made the tackle.. next level cats those 2.

I know were very limited in spots for 2026, someone few days ago said 4 left . Finau leaving makes it 5.
as you said I don’t think another year for Klemmer is that bad at a cheap price. Weekly he’s our top meter eater (yes sometimes at 110m) but still tops it.
though I also think Molo played a great game again.
Quite a few decision to make, obviously we aren’t going to sign 5 players /superstsrs . So some may have to be retained.
im thinking a winger & forward will get signed then the rest will be within /upgrades UNLESS we get rid of lawrie , Rav

That was a great win, shocked but great spirit shown by the team. A very gutsy effort & good fundamentals. Also, Tapine is a weak gutted sooky baby dog.

Shocked?? Honestly all season to date to only lose 2 games by 13+ shows you that the great spirit is there, JUST don’t have the quality to ice it.

As Flanno said post game the early losses hurt us.

An ugly win, against the top of the table team. A spirited effort.
I think Klemmer is worth a year extension. A spot in the 17 to help further develop the younger brigade next year. He shows good passion at key plays. If he can turn the couchies into young Klemmers over the next year or two that’s good development.

Great win well deserved congrats to all concerned.

Somewhat an ugly game in super tough conditions but they had a real dig and toughed it out including some absolute shockers from the ref and the bunker.

Looking at the obvious limitations so much of our squad have I thought Molo really surpassed himself with a top shelf performance.

Will be interested to see how the Raiders handle the loss.

Molo stepped up, he did not let anyone down.

It was a gutsy win but let's not kid ourselves, we didn't offer much in attack. If the Raiders were on tonight, those 2 kicks for goal in the first half demonstrated we don't have much attack to strike fear in opp teams. That's the brutal truth !

That spirit & defence in the 2nd half will do wonders if we had a proper 7. Yes, KF did an amazing job with the goal kicks but let's not get overly carried away. We got out of jail b/c the opp dropped the ball at critical times.

Take another sip and savour the moment but don't pop any bubbly b/c we're not playing 'champagne football' by any stretch of the imagination

I despise posts like this.
When we win it’s only because the other team were terrible apparently.
Doesn’t work the same way when we lose though, does it? Miserable sods like you are insufferable.
Pretty much full strength team coming first chasing 10 wins in a row versus a struggling team with a large part of its top 17 on the sideline. But yeah we only won because the other team were bad. Dumb post.

I could go on and give a detailed analysis of the game, but I won't.
We got the two competition points and beat the team running first.
Not one negative post here will change that.
With the rain pouring down in and around Sydney on a cold winter's weekend, it has given my weekend the best boost possible.

Thought sele had a good game for his first game back. Still not sold on guler..
Molo was impressive and next year is looking promising when couches and Egan get back on park. Also thought feagai played well.great to get the 2 points finally hopefully gives the team confidence and we can do the gummies next week

Sele is an excellent footballer who has had an extremely unlucky run. We have missed his contribution. I don't think certain people realise how detrimental to our season it has been not having Sele available, losing FMolo and not having Eisenhuth providing experience and direction.

Definitely carrying on like a pork chop with Klem, JDB and was it Sloan.
And then he - Tapine - would not shake Klem‘s hand after the hooter.
Tapine did some stupid avoidance moves with his hand and then shook the refs hand to avoid Klem.
But well played dragons.

So proud of the effort the team put in last night. They really dug deep. We moved up in defence and shut down the competition leaders. And how good is it watching the team song when we win? It's a real shame we are letting Jack go. He leads the song so well and all the boys seem to love the way he does it. Great win. Go Dragons!!!

it hurts to say this but we are worse than awful tonight.
No go forward; no x-factor in attack, no energy in defence, sluggish with the ball, disinterested without it....with that wind, we needed to be 20+ ahead at the break and so what is our strategy? get there 2 points at a time with penalty kicks!? This second half, Canberra will run rings around us and put on 50! We don't have the list of injuries like souths but they have spirit at least.

Fantastic win last night against the comp leaders. After the last month, the boys could have thrown in the towel.

Junior's kicking outstanding, Stewart was mighty, I hope we can find some cash for Klem next year, Suli found his passing game at the right time made never stopped going forward and Luc was good.

We didn't roll over and gave it to them in the last few minutes.
